Zerykier Abraham MD, Staten Island NY

Dr. Zerykier is probably one of the last of the great doctors who care about the patient. When my daughter received an eye injury, I immediately took her to urgent care where the diagnosis was emergent and it was advised that we see an eye MD. Immediately. They proceeded to contact dr’s that could see my daughter ASAP but I took it upon myself to call Dr. Z as I had been a patient of his at one time. The office was closed but I was able to leave a message which I did, explaining the situation. He immediately called me back, asked a few questions, and said he would meet me at his office in 20 minutes.which he did. My daughter has been under his care since and I am deeply grateful for him. It is honestly the best experience I have had in a long time in medical ethics and humanity! God bless you Dr. Z

So these people dont know what they are doing. They first off didnt know if they took my coverage, then during a pandemic they wanted to bombard me with bills that have increased during these rough times. Now they put it into collections and i was just handed a delinquency notice. Please for anyone who reads this for the sake of you sanity dont use this office.

My grandmother had an appointment with Dr. Zerykier and because she is 95 and unable to write a review online, I told her I would do it for her.
I have never seen her so visibly shaken and upset after an appointment with a doctor in my whole life. He was extremely rude and condescending and his demeanor caused her such distress that she was upset hours later and I had to calm her down. This is a woman who is suffering from macular degeneration, which is a very difficult thing to deal with on its own, but to have a doctor speak so disrespectfully to you while you’re searching for help is unacceptable, as far as I’m concerned.
If I could give zero stars, I would!

Great doctor! Would not see anyone else, my whole family have been seeing him for the last 20+ years! Very knowledgeable, smart, caring, family oriented, and very thorough and explains everything to you and answers all your questions and takes his time, we have never had one rushed through appointment nor quickly done. Also has a very great knowledgeable, kind, and helpful office staff and receptionist too! Love them all! Would recommend him as a great doctor to anyone!
