Zibetto Espresso Bar reviews
14Best coffee in NYC. Also wonderful pastries and baguettes. Was served this time by Gloria, who was very friendly and efficient. Be aware, it is a very small place and gets super busy.
By far the best espresso we found. The pastries are great also, and the fresh orange juice is delicious.
You can tell the person making your coffee cares a lot about coffee which is always a good sign. Cappuccino was great, I’d come back to try something new.
I come for lunch pick up twice a week. Order always same sandwich prosciutto. This time the sandwich was missing the prosciutto and it was just cheese and tomato and the bread was old. Very disappointed
Perhaps THE best coffee and espresso I had in Manhattan. (And the service staff was insanely nice and happy-go-lucky). Highly recommend this place.
Amanda is so lovely! Their credit card machine was not working because of wifi issue and I didn’t have any cash. She still let me work at the cafe and made me a cappuccino as she was closing up. Will definitely come back!
A small but cozy lil Italian Cafe, lite bites and my espresso complimented my mozzarella &tomato baguette.
Quintessential NY bistro. Tiny, of course, but perfect. Pastries were warm, coffee was hot, and service was fast. The espresso was perfect and delicious.
Hands down the best espresso bar in NYC. Baristas are friendly and skillful, coffee is made to perfection and the place reflects the dynamism on how a place like this should be run. Lastly, they serve in ceramic cups something I highly value now a days:)
On my way to the MET, I had a quick breakfast here. Really my best coffee of the the whole week stay in Manhattan!
A great, little hole in the wall. Coffee is nice and cheap (compared to the area at least, it is still New York prices), staff are friendly too.
They used to be really good, and now they have turned into a tourist trap. The latte was really bad.
The experience is truly unique. Ibrahim is a righteous barista. Coffee is not a job for him, it's an art form. This place also has a friendly mix of regulars and people just walking in.
There are fundamentally two main kinds of places that serve coffee: pastry shops and true coffee shops. For me, in the morning, I don't want a pastry I want a damned good cup of coffee. With that in mind I went to Zibettos, the only place nearby who seemed to be putting the coffee as the main selling point. I got a double espresso that was bold, flavorful, and so very smooth and just the thing to carry me through a busy New York City day. The coffee in the window shows that Zibettos is a roaster (I believe there are multiple locations) and the flavor of their black espresso shows they are a talented roaster.
