My 81 yr old mom was seen by Dr Glick for a skin issue.
She spoke rapid fire - seemed to be in a big hurry and I could see that my mother was not getting it all.
My mom is elderly yes but has no cognitive issues.
I myself was having difficulty as she quickly moved on.
I asked mom if she would like Dr Glick to slow down.
Dr Glick rapidly responded that Jacqueline Demros would explain further and off Dr Glick went.
I worked in the healthcare field and know abrupt rudeness when I see it.
She was very dismissive in her attitude of my mother.
Sensitivity training should be required for this Dr.
I understand that there is a shortage of dermatologists in the WNY area and understand they are busy and overwhelmed but her attitude was downright appalling…
Needless to say I cancelled all further appointments with this Dr.
Did I mention my mom was seen by another dermatologist who found CANCER on her nose?
Yeah then there’s that ……
