ZR nail place on 78, Queens NY

My favorite nail spot and perhaps the best in Jackson Heights! Cecilia and Johanna always do a fabulous job! The place is super clean, and chairs are sanitized between clients. Highly recommend always!

Joanna is topnotch. She's very attentive and meticulous of her work. She's careful never to injure. She speaks English and Spanish. In general, all the ladies who work there are polite kind and professional.

I go often to this nail place with Maria (she is the only one who is very good) so I can say I am a customer. I had an appointment today at 9: 45 and I called around 9 (I couldn’t call earlier because they are not open earlier) to say I had an emergency with my dog and had to take it to vet and I wanted to reschedule. The guy on the phone (I guess the owner) replied to me with a very annoying and rude tone saying “you want to cancel? ” and he didn’t let me finish that I wanted to reschedule and he hang up the phone. I don’t think I have to comment more.

I am giving one star because there is a lady who has really bad attitude and does not have any clue about how to talk with the customer. Not going back there again but will definitely recommend Miriam (hope I’m spelling right) she does good work and respectful towards customer.

Great service! I have been going to get my nails, silk tips and powder dips, done by Johanna for years never disappoint ever if she gets fed up with my plain color choices.

I’ve been coming here for a long time now and each time I leave I am always satisfied. The prices are affordable and the techs are amazing. If you want a great nail tech and affordable prices this is the place to be!

The owner was so rude. He has an accent so when I walked in and he said (Jade) and I understood Gel I said yes they sat me down and then Jade walks in and said that she had an appointment he goes you are not Jade and started going off, then tells me next time say you don't have an appointment never did he asked if I had one besides that the girl doing my nails made me bledso much from my toes. Prices are high for such a small place.

Thought I would try out a small business in my neighborhood but I never thought I would have to come here and write about my atrocious experience. First of all when it came to making my appointment, they had a very annoyed tone when speaking even though I would be the one helping their business. I was running a little late so I called the salon to let them know and they were very rude, almost insulting me and hung up and abruptly. We agreed that it was okay for me to come 30 minutes late, and the guy clearly said ok 7 instead of 6: 15 (which was the time I was supposed to come) and so I traveled another many blocks to get there after my busy schedule because he clearly told me it was okay if I came at 7 when I called about the lateness. I didn’t think much of it until I faced him in the store directly where him and another nail tech decided to verbally attack me saying I should’ve came earlier even though on the phone we agreed on 7 and I arrived at 6: 43 so there was no need to literally kick me out. The man wasn’t even capable of having a full conversation with me, a customer who was WILLING to pay and a costumer to whom he clarified a booked appointment with at 7 pm after the phone call, considering the rude behavior. The man then decided not to speak anymore without giving me any conclusion which left me with no choice but to leave wasting about an hour on a nail appointment I couldn’t even have. They also claimed that they were closed at 6: 53 even though their hours on Mondays are clearly till 8, by which time they could’ve perfectly done the gel manicure I wanted. When I did get the chance to do my nails there before, I was heavily disappointed at how unprofessional they were. They communicated with their finger, pointing me to where they want me. The lady who did my nails was dropping her tools left and right and was very unsanitary. The french tips I asked for were very uneven and my acrylics came out very crooked. During the process the lady cut my finger as shown in my picture and didn’t even apologize or clean the area before continuing so it was burning the whole time. When I informed her about the blood she disregarded my opinion and told me it would go away which it didn’t because the scar is still very visible. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone including my biggest enemy.

The girl who worked on my pedicure was way too fast, it wasn’t relaxing at all, the painting was just bad, that’s what happens when someone rushes their work. Another lady repainted my nails but they charged me for that, it was much better and she was sweet but once I got home I saw that the girl from the begging didn’t properly clean and prep my nails. When I went to another salon that afternoon they took out a lot of dead skins and all of that. It was a waste of time and money. Not going back again.

They are appointment based only.very clean place. Bc of the appt there's never a delay in being seen. You can always call last minute to see if there's an opening and I have gotten lucky at times. Decently priced too.
