I have to say this was by far a much easier experience than I had expected. Selling an engagement ring that I've held on to since my fiance gave it back after our breakup.wasn't easy but was part of my past I needed to let go. Thanks to my rep for making it easy and quick. And they gave me a great price for the re-sell. I was also given the option to destroy the box it originally came in lol, honestly I did and it was therapeutic in a way. I was skeptical about the place once we pulled up because the building said "Rolex" & was very nice. I had left early for shopping & was in sweats, definitely not looking "Rolex-ish". (If there is such a thing). However, we had the best customer service. The people are so down to earth.

Additionally, the prices they gave for my gold were very fair and they even took time to price it for me with some pieces or without some pieces and didn't seem to mind a bit.

I happened to be in the area that day but in the future I will make the drive to deal with them again. It was an incredibly positive experience.

I went to JR Raleigh Gold & Diamond to sell some jewelry that I hadn't worn in a while. No apt necessary, so I walked in and met with Carl. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and honest. He wrote me a check for the pieces I agreed to sell and for another piece that was worth more- he gave me options to see if possibly consignment was better. Our exchange was without delay, yet I didn't feel rushed and felt he was very thorough with me. I browsed at the cases while I waited for my check and even tried on a few gold pieces. The sales associate was friendly and she knew immediately what looked good on me and wasn't afraid to say it if something didn't. I definitely would recommend and would return to this jewelry store for a future purchase.

Having recently downsized now that we are empty nesters my wife was consolidating her jewelry and collected a bunch of old gold pieces that she was no longer using and others that were damaged and broken. Having never sold gold before we were hesitant to just walk into just any place. We did our homework and educated ourselves in how the whole process works. We then went online and read reviews of businesses that buy gold and felt that JR Raleigh was a place we could feel most comfortable. Christian Hale was very thorough and deliberate throughout the whole process. He took the time going through every piece. Ultimately we agreed on a price per pennyweight and received a good price for our gold. The entire process was very comfortable and we were very happy with Christian’s professional demeanor. I would say the best compliment we can pay is to say we will definitely return.

I had a fantastic experience selling some estate jewelry with Carl at J. R. Raleigh in Cary. First off, it's a beautiful store and building, and everyone was taking all the proper covid-19 precautions as you would hope and expect. But beyond that, Carl was extremely patient, informative, honest, and was able to help me sell some gold in addition to providing some referrals on likely better destinations for selling some other pieces that would be more beneficial for both parties. I was really pleased and would strongly recommend anyone else to do business with them.

I had a great experience with Carl and team when I had old gold necklaces to sell. I definitely wasn’t expecting to pull up to a beautiful Rolex dealer and jewelry store - but everyone was genuinely nice to work with. Carl took a look at some “mystery ” stud earrings I brought in and let me know what they were (mystic topaz!). I definitely recommend this jeweler.
