Picasso Pawn, Raleigh NC

Terrible customer service. I was cleaning out my garage and wanted to get a couple of extra dollars for some items I no longer needed and I get that pawn shops want to low ball you, it’s sort of their whole thing but another customer offered me more than they were willing to pay for an item and when I accepted there was a big shift in the attitude of the employee I was talking with. Her name was Shelia or something. At that point she refused to take any of my items and became rude. Pawn shops have no problem paying pennies for items they mark up 300 plus percent and again I get that. Grifting is their whole business plan but what I want to know is why she took it so personally, like I’m sure their underpaying her too so I really hope she’s getting paid commission for all that attitude. It my first time ever in a pawn shop and at this point I think I’m just going to sell my items on offer up or a similar platform.

Wouldn’t accept items only because I wouldn’t throw a number out first of what I wanted to receive for my items. Any good pawn shop isn’t scared to throw a number out first and that shouldn’t stop a sale. The mgr also didn’t even bother to look at the surround system at all he looked at the speakers for a half a second but didn’t even bother to look at the actually money- the system itself.

Sheila at the Capital Blvd Location excelled in her customer service she was very forward with Winston I needed and it was very much appreciated!

Ethan and Alondra were amazing. She has a great staff and I can’t wait to come again. The store looked really clean, customer service was impeccable, and everything was done quickly. I will definitely come again. They give great deals.

I just looked at a amplifier head for a guitar. We tested it out and it didn't work. They put it back on the shelf and said they were not going to lower the price. I told the manager Chris that me and one if his guys tested it for 30 min and couldn't get it to work and that he should label it as is. He says" I don't know. I haven't messed with it. " I told him we did and he watched us work on it. Chris is knowingly selling electronics that do not work. I've bought my entire recording studio from Picasso. I'm really saddened to see under that smiling demeanor is a sleaze ball

I always have a good time here. They have the best quality products that you are looking for. Shout out to Sheila!

Alondra and shiela were awesome. They were quick and kind and drive an hour just to come see them. They have the best customer service and I wouldn't go anywhere else

I would firstly like to thank Ethan Charles for his great customer services and honesty. Being a person that works in the customer service industry, his qualities should not go unnoticed. Lastly, I would like to thank Felicia and Alondra for making my experience personable (sneaker head to sneaker head).

5 stars all across the board Sheila and Alondra def went above and beyond to make sure my experience at Picasso was nothing short of amazing I highly recommend this store if you are looking to buy or sell items! Their energy is amazing!

Today is 8/30/22. The manager she was very rude and nit willing to negotiate on a price of shoes I did understand that they had just been put on the floor but they were very rude about it and another associate took the shoe put of my hand and said if I couldn't make an offer of what i wanted to pay she couldn't help me. I told her I didn't have an offer but I wanted to know what's the best price I could get.and she took the shoe and put it back on the shelf. I didn't want to spend any of my money in this pawn shop but emily helped me and changed my mind.she couldn't change the price but her customer service was great and she was very nice. I cannot say the same for the manager on duty and the other female associate. I hope this is addressed

Called in yesterday to see if they take stainless steel rings with gems inlaid in them, they said yes but to bring them by for a price, without seeing them they might be $15. I showed up, lady said they never take SSteel jewelry, waste if my damn time.

The sales associate Emily at Picasso Pawn was very patient and friendly. In addition she answered all of my questions regarding the item I inquired about. She's definitely an valuable asset to the company and the team.

Awesome experience with picasso pawn. They went above and beyond while I was there. They treated me and my merchandise with respect and took extra steps to protect my electronics that needed tested. I went to Picasso looking for a t.v for my son. Walked out with my baby a 4 matic power wheel. Price was amazing. Thank to Sheila and Felicia for meeting my needs. I will be back soon. Be bless ladies

Came in looking for a loan. Ms Sheila aside from handling some serious problems was still kind and courteous and was able to put things in perspective and took very good care of me.
