Made an appointment to fix my son’s pendant I bought from Zales 2 years ago. When I arrived at the store, the sales clerk told me that the pendant couldn’t be fixed and that she had another customer with the same pendant issue, where the hook attached to the pendant broke. There was nothing they could do. I was disappointed. This was a photo pendant of my son’s best friend who passed away. Well, I found another jewelry store in the same mall and guess what? Pendant was fixed and good as new! Please tell me why Zales couldn’t fix it? !?

I stopped here on Saturday to clean my engagement ring and purchase my fiancé’s wedding band. The store manager was the one that helped me. She was a bit rude until she realized i was going to buy something and not just get my ring cleaned.

I wasn’t sure what size ring my fiancé needed. She assured me i could exchange the ring if it didn’t fit and we could order online and have it in time by my wedding that was 4 weeks away. Only 4 days after my purchase, I go to exchange for the correct size and am told it is a minimum of 8 weeks. So now I’ve paid hundreds of dollars for us to have to have a ring that is too big on our wedding day and deal with “making it look okay” in pictures and worrying about it coming off during the party - even though i was assured there was, “plenty of time. ”

In addition to this, while I was checking out, she was laughing and joking in detail and at length with another customer about her “failed engagement”. As a person that is superstitious, i did NOT enjoy this as the topic of my experience while purchasing an expensive ring that is supposed to symbolize my love lasting forever.

If you want to be treated like more than a sale, please go to the Zales in Park West. You’ll get better service and better parking.

We visited Zales of Sputhpoint Mall in Durham and we can say this store is really nice. Maybe is not the biggest jewelry over there but if you visit then I'm pretty sure you will find something beautiful like we did. Brandi service was wonderful and she make very pleasant our buying experience. All those ladies were very nice, but Brandi really makes the difference. Thank you so much! Btw my wife loves you and she so very pleased with her ring!

The customer service of this store is very disappointing I drove to the store to have my ring inspected during mall hours. The store had the gates closed and a sign that said closed for inventory will be open later today. I can clearly see the staff working so I say excuse me around what time do you think the store will open back up. NO RESPONSE! I attempted to call the store and NO ANSWER. If you plan to not operate your business within the business hours of the mall update your hours on the websites. As a customer who plans out my day I go off of hours available and don’t have the time to waste to come to the store and be ignored.

Never buying anything from these location again I purchased a ring and lost a diamond with less then 90 days and when I went back to fix it they charge $80 to get it fix so I got it fix bc I these point I had no choice and when I went to pick up the ring Natasha the sales girl had the worse attitude I asked her when was my next inspection on the ring she answered that she couldn't tell me that I had see the paper work they gave me so I told her I had lost it and then she told me honestly she was very rude she had no intention on helping and was rude and short at all time you guys need to train these girl with some customer service skills worse employee I had seen at these location.

April 1st at 6: 50pm at southpoint mall that lady natasha (the tall black girl) needs to work on her customer service, she has a certain way to talk to ppl and I didn't like it, & @ZALES needs to do better at hiring bc yall jeopardizing a lot of money bc of her. Yall need to hire ppl that really wants to work. If i had of been a new customer and she came to attend me the way she did today I wouldn't buy anything bc of her, even tho I was expecting to spend money. I would of go to a different retail store. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

Awful, the sales rep was rude, did not show any understanding for the situation and how frustrating/upsetting it is. Sent my ring in for a prong repair, took over a month in the first place to get it back. Then was informed my ring was "damaged beyond repair". It is clear that the diamond was either swapped or severely damaged while being repaired. The only options were to take my damaged ring and just accept it as is or GIVE them my ring and get a completely new ring.while they keep my original ring. The whole point of an engagement/wedding ring is the sentimental value so the fact that they expect you to just be okay with the fact that they damaged the ring, and then don't want to allow you to keep your sentimental ring is insane. They really need a better policy or either better jewelers who don't damage your diamond. This has been escalated to corporate. Very unhappy with the service and of the sales person who was arrogant, rude, and difficult to deal with. Acted as if I was making it up or crazy, but you can clearly see the difference. See the photos below for yourself! Please be cautious if you take your ring for repairs!

I had a horrible experience at another Zales store in Raleigh trying to purchase a replacement band for my bridal set. I was told they couldn’t order another band for my set and that it would have to be made for $1,500 and that it was Zales policy. (My whole bridal set was $600 total for BOTH my engagement ring and wedding band) I left their store broken hearted and discouraged. They even made my husband and I feel bad for not purchasing a lifetime warranty 4 years ago when we were broke, young adults. I then decided to call this Zales location in Durham. I was greeted warmly by Bri. She was more than happy to help me and so apologetic about the Raleigh location being unhelpful. She was so easy to work with and ordered a new band for me without hesitation. She called me several times to keep me in the loop about my order and walked me through the final steps. To say I’m thankful is an understatement! THANK YOU SO MUCH BRI! You’re truly a lifesaver!

Vicki was great! She helped me to get my repair done exactly how I wanted. It took about a month for the repair to be done (not her fault, just due to the fact that zales has to send repairs out rather than do in house) but it was worth it. Would definitely go back to her again. She was very patient with all my questions too. Thank you!

I got the opportunity to work with Bri and she was outstanding. Through the entire process I felt that she cared more about me finding the right piece than anything else. I really appreciated the approach especially since I was hesitant to visit the store in person. I would absolutely recommend this location and Bri in particular!

Zales at Southpoint Mall was a great experience for me and my wife. I was able to get her the ring she wanted without any issues! Great customer service
