Was initially easy when buying a 2023 Buick Encore GX back in mid August. Then in October the engine light came on two months after getting a brand new vehicle. Not even 3,000 miles. Did not have it the entire month of November waiting for it to be fixed. Finally got it back last Saturday December 3rd. Only to have it go down with what appears to be the same issue tonight for a second time now. The new vehicle has not even had the first oil change. Communication stinks with them.

I will NEVER buy from Sweeney again! Bought a used car - on the way home noticed it starting to make several noises. By the time I received a phone call back (we repeatedly had to get in touch with the salesman because service wasn't reaching out like we were told they would) it was over a month later. Most large car dealerships like this, in good faith would fix the problems - in my case the front brakes and rotors, this dealership - once you buy the used car - they wipe their hands clean of you. Three different times I received three different specs one stating the front brakes were gone, the other stating they were at a 5 a month ago and another saying they are anywhere from 2 to 4 - so who do you believe? Guess I won't be returning in the near future - and the people I recommended Sweeney to, well they were informed of what happened, so they decided not to even look at the SUVs there.

I purchased a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 elevation here on November 4th. The truck is beautiful and I love it. Sales process left much to be desired… The day prior, we discussed pricing and financing with our sales agent, Ray. My wife and I were excited to go back in the next day and purchase the truck, and Sweeney marked it as sold for us. However, the next day, we were informed that the costs would be much different than we discussed the day prior. There was a $999 markup on the vehicle that absolutely could not be avoided. Additionally, the 0% financing that Ray described was not available either (we are stuck with 6.89%). In total, this increased the truck’s total cost by over $3000. Had we not been in such a time crunch and down to one vehicle, I’m positive we could have shopped at a more honest and forthcoming business. We will 100% be avoiding this dealership in the future.
