A Taste of Excellence Catering, Strongsville OH

Our food was delicious! Everything was perfect! The ATE team did a fabulous job of coordinating the venue! The Cleveland City Hall Rotunda makes for a magical wedding!

Forgot a full table at the wedding I was at and when someone from the table approached them they offered what was left. We preordered during rsvp and our table placards had our orders on them, one was a kids meal which at this point in the night (all the other tables had been already cleaned up) they had nothing left. Their only solution was eating an adult entree which a child doesnt want. Had to drive a few miles away and get a kids meal at a local fast food restaurant. Got back with food for my child to my dinner being cold and not really tasty at that point. You'd think a caterer would have a manager making sure all tables are served and all orders are correct before feeding staff, not here! We fortunately had someone at our table complain to the caterer we hadn’t been served or they would’ve forgotten us completely.

We worked with Emily from Taste of Excellence through our reception venue ThornCreek Winery for our wedding 1/21/23. Emily, thank you for being one of our favorite vendors to work with. Emily was always so pleasant, professional, and really took to time to answer questions about the day. The tasting was such a fun experience and Emily took the time to personalize our package to exactly what we had envisioned for the day. The food- wow. I always just assumed my wedding food would be “okay”, as most wedding food is just okay. Everything was hot and delicious from the appetizers down to the main meal! We got SO many compliments about the lemon chicken! Thank you so much Emily for all your help and for making our day special!

We had taste of excellence for our wedding in July. They are so professional and made sure of every detail on our day. They were so responsive up the day when we had changes. Maddie helped us with the food tasting and all the details. We had Savannah on our day. The food was amazing and all the staff did such an amazing job!

I used taste of excellence for my wedding, they were hands downs the best to work with from our tasting to the day of the event. The day of my wedding, they were continuously making sure everything was stocked up. We had a sweetheart table and it was so nice to have our food brought to us so we could actually eat while everyone was getting in line for the buffet. They also brought our desserts to our table as well. People are still talking about how good the food was! Kaitlyn was so great to work with to get everything in order for my wedding day!

This happens to be the best tasting brisket in the neighborhood. The employees were full of good energy. Smiling, quick services, and the food.my goodness now I know why its called taste of blessings.

Fantastic, professional company with a great staff. They took care of everything for my wedding this weekend, and the food was delicious. Everyone raved about their meal, and presentation was beautiful.

Outstanding food and service! We had this event catered in our home. Chef Adam cooked steaks to perfection in the company's oven in a truck which they parked near our garage. The food was exceptional. They were willing to make a couple of my recipes as this was for a 60th birthday party and I wanted to serve some of his favorites. Morgan, LeeAnn and Cole came early and helped set up tables with their linens, plates, flatware and glassware. They even helped move a couple of coffee tables to make room. They were all extremely professional in helping everything run smoothly. Somehow without any interruption they cleared all the dishes and glassware, subtly took down tables and rental chairs after the meal and while the party was still going on to make extra room for guests. They also cleaned up thoroughly before they left. It was a happy surprise to look around at a spotless kitchen at the end of the night. This is truly a full service catering company. Highly highly recommend!

ATE catered our wedding. From the beginning, everyone went above and beyond to make our day absolutely incredible. Lindsay and Maddie were so easy to work with and the contract was very straight forward. Diana was our manager day-of and everything was flawless from start to finish. We also worked with Pat who made sure everyone was taken care of! Our bartender was fantastic and everyone had a wonderful time. All our guests raved about how delicious the food was, the attention of the staff, and the speed of the bartending (and how delicious the drinks were!). Our guests had a phenomenal time and our experience was totally stress free. Thank you for all that you do!

We've had such a great experience working with A Taste of Excellence for our Wedding Day catering. The communication with Diana and Ali was excellent - they were extremely responsive and seemed to truly care about what we wanted for our day. We wanted a few things to be unique to us and the Chefs came up with a menu that was exactly what we were looking for. Our tasting was delicious and we only needed to change a few minor things, and they helped guide us in the right direction to get exactly what we wanted. Any changes or help we needed, they responded right away. The food was all great and our guests continue to tell us how much they enjoyed it!

I used taste of excellence for my wedding, they are very easy to work with! They have a lot of linen colors to choose from, and the staff was very nice. When we went for our tasting I was certain at my wedding I would eat chicken Marsala (my favorite food) but I tasted the beef tenderloin and it was so delicious. The day of my wedding, they continuously set stocked out grazing table and it looked wonderful. Only thing Wrong was a few guest sent back their meals to be cooked more… and others told us after that their meals were either cold, and or undercooked. My husbands beef was cooked perfectly.and mine was purple.completely raw. I ended up not eating at my wedding. Guest who had the pasta loved the pasta, and the chicken Marsala I heard was good as well!

We were a couple that moved our date three times from the time we got engaged in 2019. By the time 2022 came around prices had sky rocketed but A Taste of Excellence worked with us to limit that impact and only changed certain pricing for us while leaving the rest as it was. That was incredible. Leading up to the wedding Karen was very quick to get back to me and organized in everything we had set. Rehearsal day when the linens were picked up and chair covers delivered there was a small snafu. The chai cover person brought their own chair ties and I had also been given chair ties. The ties she had were on about 80% of the chairs but didn’t match the rest of the linens. She changed them all out for me before she left which was amazing. Come wedding day we literally could not have picked or asked or dreamed for a better team. We wanted for nothing. The bartender was in it. She know what people were drinking and was so friendly and sweet. Rich the manager of the event was so amazing and his crew was just on it. Dinner was plated and they were so efficient in getting everyone dinner at the same time. They boxed cake they took plates out made sure water was refilled and consistently cleaned up any spills that came up. People raved about the food and how good it was and were so pleased with the service overall. I checked back in with the venue the next day and they said the place was spotless and cleaned well. That was all Rich and his crew. I would highly recommend A Taste of Excellence.

This was the best wedding food I have had ever. The food was hot from the first table served to the last. They say you eat with your eyes first. Well let me tell you, the Presentation was on point. Most of the guests had the braised beef option, some had the Chicken dish and a few had the Portobello stuffed mushroom. Compliments on all 3 entrées were given at each table. Compliments and thanks to the chef for a delicious meal.

From the very beginning of working with A Taste of Excellence, all the way through the event I was extremely impressed! They are so professional and helpful, and their menu is top notch! Kaitlyn and Lindsey Sauers took wonderful care of us =) We received SO MANY complements on their service and food at our wedding. We did hors d'oeuvres and cocktail service during cocktail hour, rented our tables and linens from them, did a plated dinner with a salad and cheese boards, a late night french fry bar (a huge hit), bar and staff was ATOE, and coffee service with our cake. Basically, they were in charge of a huge portion of our event and did not fail to deliver an exceptional experience! The price is also AMAZING compared to many other catering vendors. If you are looking for the very best caterer, look no further than a Taste of Excellence!

Taste of Excellence did a nice job catering our wedding at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens in August'22. The food got solid reviews, and the service was by all accounts great. Kaitlyn did a nice job working with us to coordinate dishes, linens, chairs, etc, and everything went smoothly on the day-of. Leaving 4-stars only because the value could have been a bit better for buffet-style dining.

Don't go anywhere else for your special event! We were lucky enough to work with Mary Jane and her staff, and it was an unforgettable day with unforgettable food. I had guests ask us if we could have the short rib recipe it was so delicious! From the planning process to the execution Mary and TOE were incredible. The service the day of, during and after the event was perfect, and the food was out of this world. THANK YOU TASTE OF EXCELLENCE AND MARY JANE for making our day absolutely perfect!

While I will say the food was excellent, I am STILL hearing to this day bad reviews from my guests about the caterers and bartenders of my wedding. Nasty attitudes, no one knew anything that they were supposed to do and worst of all, when they didn’t know what to do, they came to ME! On the day of! Mary Jane while excellent to work with, was also VERY VERY hard to get a hold of always stating she had other weddings she was doing, which in turn is a VERY acceptable reason, except on the day of my wedding, she was no where to be found and her workers knew absolutely nothing! A year of going over plans and how things should have been done for nothing to be done the way I, the bride, wanted. My MIL paid for an ice cream dessert since I did have children there and they set the sundae table up right next to the bathrooms. If you want to have snotty rude workers to your guests, workers about to give YOU a mental breakdown on YOUR wedding day, and a coordinator that is impossible to get ahold of unless when payment needs made, by all means waste your money

They are nothing but friendly and professional. Beautiful people creating beautiful experiences and memories. 10/10 recommend!

Everyone LOVED the food and the presentation! We were truly stunned at the attention to detail, the way the utensils were wrapped, the adorable plastic coffee mugs. Our seniors felt special and loved.

We serve a low resource population here in Cleveland with a focus on giving them a VIP experience every time, every month, to build their self-esteem and confidence in their healthcare. I’m so happy to have found a company with the same values of EXCELLENCE.

Our patients are seen every month or more by their PCP here. Most of the seniors are low income and haven’t had a real doctor patient relationship. My role is to reach as many seniors as I can by hosting small events.

Our population isn’t used to people looking to help with nothing in return, so to earn their trust, I must make sure quality is key.
Some of the members asked, “What’s the occasion? ” when they saw the spread. And we said, “You are the occasion”

I really love working with A Taste Of Excellence. I've acquired their catering service twice for a corporate event for a company I work for and I've had a great experience both time. Food is great and Kaitlyn was really nice to work with! I would really highly recommend them. They even helped me to fit in a last minute order which I am so appreciative of.
