A White Pond Paradise Salon & Day Spa, Akron OH

I was randomly thinking today about the time I had an interview here and was belittled by the owner. My hair was beautifully and professionally done in a deep purple to lilac ombré. During a time when fashion colors are the rage at a HAIR salon. None of the other girls had fashion color in their hair. The owner was just staring at me during the whole tour/interview and said “I’m sorry I just don’t even want to finish this interview I can’t have you working here with that color in your hair” all of the girls looked miserable when he was around them. He was Probably one of the worst & rudest human beings I’ve ever met in my life!

I went in for my first Brazilian wax ever and Geanina was the best! She made me feel comfortable throughout the process and was very knowledgeable about it. She explained what she was doing and made me laugh during the service. She gave great aftercare instructions as well!
The salon itself is very nice and clean, and Rick was very professional and personable when I walked in. The prices, in my opinion, are extremely reasonable and affordable.
I could not have asked for a better first experience with this wax and I will definitely be going back!

The staff were friendly and professional. I was nervous because it was my first Brazilian and she talked to me and kept me calm. She told me everything she was doing and even made me laugh.

I had my first facial ever with Sarah and she was superb. She had a soft touch and walked me thru each phase of the facial. Sarah was welcoming, professional and she made me feel comfortable and extremely relaxed. I almost fell asleep at one point! Highly recommend her services and the spa is lovely.

If you need some pampering, this is the place to go! My hubs bought me a certificate for Valentine's Day, and it was the best gift ever! From the massage to the mani/pedi, it was a wonderful experience!

My entire experience with a one hour massage and a mani and pedi was amazing. White Pond always gives a great experience and quality.

This place is very relaxing, it’s arranged nicely. The workers are so nice and confident in their work. I get the Brazilian wax along with my underarms from Geanina. I love her, she is so sweet and fun to talk too. She always keeps me informed on how to care for my skin with waxing. She’s gentle and doesn’t rush the process which I appreciate. Definitely a great place!

Geanina was so friendly and comforting! She did a great job on my Brazilian wax and prepared for me for my labor I highly recommend her!

I recently had a pedicure & manicure and wouldn’t go back for this type of service. The manicurist was very friendly and made it a pleasant experience however, the paint that they used on my fingernails and toenails took forever to dry and ended up damaging the polish with marks due to poor non drying polish. If I could’ve waited several hours to dry then the marks wouldn’t have happened. My advice to management is to get better products that dry quickly and aren’t gooey.

Geanina is amazing! I bounced around from salon to salon for waxing the first few years I was in Akron and then found her and wished I had found her sooner. She is not only great at her job, but efficient, friendly, and always remembers our conversations. It's like our chats have picked up right where they left off last visit. Her waxing is great and she always goes above and beyond to make sure her customers are happy. I highly recommend her!

Geanina was great in my experience at White Pond Paradise Salon. Her charming personality kept me engaged throughout the whole time. Time went by really fast when I was there. I was extremely pleased with the wax I received, and how my legs felt after.

I have been going to the salon consistently for almost a year now and the service and quality is top notch. Geanina is a terrific professional who takes pride in her craft, and I would recommend her to everybody.

First time getting a bikini wax and Geanina was awesome. She made me feel comfortable. I was very nervous but she was very gentle and she talked me through the process.
