Nice ambiance.beautiful decor. The perfect place for any businessman trying to get away and still get work done. Upscale food and entertainment within walking distance. The could use a lil hospitality training but we're not rude enough to ruin my stay

I have stayed at the AC Hotel in Pinecrest Multiple times and am always very pleased with my stay there. The hotel is clean and accommodating, and its surrounded by many places to shop, and eat. The parking garage is only steps away from the hotel doors and its wonderful that it is covered parking even in the suburbs! Very pleased with the location. I will definitely be going back!

We stayed here 10 nights while I was recuperating from surgery at the Clinic. Location is great with multiple restaurants nearby. Desk staff accommodating and helpful. Mo at bar is lovely.
However staffing elsewhere is minimal. For three days there has been no milk in the breakfast buffet. And choices there are slight.
One has to beg for housekeeping. There are no trash receptacles in lounge area, and people leave their trash everywhere.
Rooms are functional but certainly not luxurious. It’s a little too rough for us.

The hotel was modern and well placed with plenty of dining and other amenities. Our experience however was negatively affected by poor cleaning and maintenance on our room. Specifically, the faucet was loose and the bathroom was dirty. It looked like someone got sick all over the wall by the toilet and never cleaned properly. Disgusting! Also, the coffee pot was dirty, full of coffee grounds. It would also be nice to have electric car charging available. There were none. We did not use the breakfast offerings as there was not much offered. The expresso machine was broken and it looked like this had been the case for quite some time.

Stayed at this location for my husbands birthday weekend. The front desk staff were so kind and accommodating. Our room was not ready at the time we arrived. The staff made us very comfortable in the hotel lobby area. We watched the Buckeyes game and they served us beverages and snacks. That evening we went out to the common "bar" area to relax and further celebrate and the "Beverage Queen", Monique was just the best ever. She sang happy birthday to my hubby and another guest who was also celebrating a birthday. She made "special" drinks for them and made all the guests around the bar area feel a part of the festive evening. Although I am not a drinker there were many choices for the non-alcohol consumers. We love staying here when we come to the Cleveland area. The diverse staff is a definite pre-requisite and plus for us as well as a testament to the inclusive culture of the Marriott Family of Hotels. Great Job! Thanks

I reserved a room for 5 adults. They gave me 2 queen beds.my 22 year old son had to sleep on the floor. I asked for a cot and they refused it "fire hazard". They gave us a free breakfast, better than nothing. Super disappointed for a $300 a night hotel. When I ask why did I pay extra for a 5 adult room. He said "you can reserve it for as many people as you want but it only has two beds" that make zero sense to me.

Rooms are nice and the location is excellent if you enjoy the nightlife. Tons of restaurants and bars right outside the hotel. Parking is convenient unless you have a trailer or U-Haul. Hotel staff don’t wear uniforms, so they’re not easily recognizable.

I had a great experience at this hotel, when I first checked in I was greeted with a glass of champagne. The hotel was clean and nice. In a perfect area and walking distance to plenty of cute restaurants and shops. The only thing I did not like was that the garage did not have a direct entrance to the hotel. Everything else was great.

While the rooms were clean and nice, the staff couldn’t have been more unhelpful. The bar area at night should be avoided. The staff had no idea how to run the hotel after hours. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone for any reason than the easy location to OTHER areas.

It's a nice looking hotel inside the Pinecrest shopping mall. But the housekeeping is not great. The rooms, although nice looking on the surface, aren't thoroughly clean. Stains in the shower and bedsheets. And front desk staff is a hit or miss. Some are really nice, some are rude

This motel is in a great location. You have everything you need in walking distance. When we first stayed here the first time you were treated like it was a 5 star hotel. The last couple of times it has not been the case. They seem to be having issues with front desk staff. It's just not what we are used to. Also the rooms have not been as clean. We will try this hotel again just because of the location.

This hotel is overcrowded and understaffed. The public restrooms were repeatedly overflowing with trash and clogged toilets; the staff did not seem to care. The breakfast, which is not included, was repeatedly empty. The coffee was awful. Room was not fully cleaned upon arrival and had the smell of sewage.

Wonderful stay. Staff and front desk goes out of their way to say hello and make sure that you are comfortable throughout your stay. DeLorean was so sweet and accommodating. Will absolutely come back.

4 out of 5 staff needed more training especially front desk. Zero customer service skills, they did not even know how to locate a kitchen or bar/lounge employee when there was nobody to be found during lounge hours, and much of the policy procedures of a Mariott brand not practiced. Hire right and train right. Yes we know everyone is having a hard time getting those better qualified people, but that excuse is getting old fast and customer service issues still need to be resolved to successfully and properly run your business! Whenever times are more difficult it's exactly when the brand's reputation is made to stand out.

UPDATE: Don't be fooled my management reaching out to poor reviews, as if they want to make it right. I reached out out to the response I received from management and NEVER heard a single word back.

So the only reason I even gave 2 stars versus 0 stars is because of the great location and the potential of the actual building. This was our second stay at this hotel in the past two months. At first, I wasn't going to write a review because I thought the bad experience the first time was a one off, but after this second stay I realize it is the trend for this hotel. How do you check-in at a different time on two different stays and the SAME team member is just hanging out there? This second visit, it was multiple people hanging out at the front desk. We were never properly greeted and apparently my husband and I were an inconvenience by breaking up their hangout session in order to check in. The lady who checked us in never even looked at us once during the check-in process, never mentioned breakfast or anything that was helpful. But again I guess we did interrupt her from hanging with her friends AT WORK. Fast forward to the room.each stay the room looks like it was just used and not cleaned with much effort. Especially in the current health and safety climate, I would expect at least half an effort for the room to appear clean. But clearly based on the way the front desk staff and other staff members who make the front desk their hang out spot, we should've known to have low expectations for anything else in the hotel. Although I'm always about having a good time, in the evening, the lobby/bar area turns into a club with a bit too much rowdiness. If you're in to that, you will have fun. No one was even at the desk later in the evening (they may have been partying at the bar with other non hotel guests who were using the front driveway as their personal parking lot), or even when we were ready to check-out the next morning. Thank goodness we could check-out on the Marriott Bonvoy app. We will not be staying here again until there is staff re-training or staffing changes.
