Closing down the boys club of a country club and letting this place go back to its natural state was the best thing Acacia could have done. This is the product of an old-fashioned country club not growing with the times, but I’m so glad it didn’t. Having this beautiful natural habit to walk through here in Beachwood is soooooo nice. As a city that likes to pave over any green space they can find, it’s refreshing to have Acacia to walk in. I always see wildlife when I’m there, and my dog loves it when we spend a couple of hours here.

Acacia was way better than I expected, and there was a wide variety of birds/trees on the property. It's getting better fast. Surprising that it's thriving in the middle of such a busy area.

So they are tearing down the building. I don't know who owns it Lyndhurst or Cleveland metropark, but REALLY!

I love walking there and was glad the golf course was taken over by the metro parks; but I do wish that more of the trails were plowed.

This is a newer park in Beachwood and is a beautiful place to take a walk! As a photographer, I am always looking for new locations to shoot portraits, and Acacia Reservation does not disappoint. It features walking trails, ponds, tall grass, and much more. Highly recommend! Images by Jennifer Elizabeth Photography.

This is a good place to get a nice walk among the trees. It's a former golf course that the Metroparks have been helping along to get back to the natural state. The walking trails are almost all paved blacktop, making it easy waking or rolling. Other than one section nearest the fishing pond by Richmond Rd, there's not much elevation change so it's very wheelchair friendly as the trails were designed for golf carts.

Bikes are allowed but I don't see them very often. Dogs allowed on a leash and poop bags and trash cans are usually available at the start of trails in case you forget.

There are a few small shelters but they don't have picnic tables. Several benches are scattered around for resting and watching the birds.

It's a pleasant respite from the bustling shopping malls just across the street. I'm very glad the Nature Conservancy saved this land from becoming more shops and condos.

Acacia is a very nice metro park. The trails are paved and not very long or difficult. It's a nice easy walk. The park is always crowded with people, dogs, and strollers. The club house is very nice too that may cater to weddings and banquets.

It was perfect for the baby shower I attended there.
There was room for the little ones to run around outside. The space was incredibly warm and inviting and just beautiful.loved it. The catering staff were responsive and accommodating. Will certainly consider it for my next big event!

Beautiful. Clean. Friendly people. Environmentally conscious park. Ohio really has a great park system.

The loop trail we took had a couple of challenging hills if you have stability issues.
In a previous visit we'd taken the trails through the actual & original golf course that they're encouraging a "return to nature".

Acacia keeps getting better as more vegetation grows up between the asphalt paths. It no longer feels like a golf course; there are now places with actual shade. I am hoping the Metroparks continue to make the most of this one and only greenspace in Lyndhurst

Great wild park in the middle of the city. Lots of paved paths. Nice for walking/scaring, scootering with kids.

When I was younger going to Beachwood Mall I remember this as a golf course. I’m extremely happy it’s apart of the metro park system. A beautiful area worth visiting.

This park used to be a golf course, but has since been renovated into a walking park. 2 oval paved trail take you around the course. A few gazebos to stop at.

Great place for a long walk! They recently made some changes to the terrain and layout. There are also some wide open green spaces for frisbee or a game of catch.

Converted golf course and you'd never know it. It really is a hidden gem that too many people drive by. Trees, wildflowers, deer and a few nice trails, it really is a great place to unwind with a relaxing walk.
