Adams Lake State Park reviews
21Great place to have a great birthday party. Also just to take the kids on a nice day. Fishing and small boats welcomed.as well as clean
Had great time fishing would have been great if lillies was cleaned from the lake.but as always great family place and very beautiful
Lot of snags for fishing. No camping and grass needs mowed. Otherwise its a peaceful lake with good walking area.
Nice, clean, pleasant park. We had lunch. Bring a trash bag with you there are no trash cans on the park.
Wonderful place. Has many trails and a nice paved walk along the lake. Kayak launch and regular boat ramp. Electric motor only
Free primitive camping right by the lake. Locals do run in the morning and were really loudly talking while campers were trying to sleep in the early morning. Other than that, it was quite nice. Close to Walmart were we were able to get food, water and charcoal. There are pit latrines, and no potable water. We stoped overnight motorcycle camping.
3 hours fishing chicken livers and not a bite, maybe another time.
My dog took a dump.and swam in the lake
It has changed for the better over the past 20 years, It's actually a very tranquil place to be at peace!
Very nice lake, and now they have grills and concrete slabs at every little site and you can now camp at Adams County Lake!
For a small state park, Adams Lake is well cared for. Lots of wildlife, good fishing, easy access to most of the lake shoreline. New imrovements have been camping spots and an easy launch for canoes and kayaks. Nice paved walking path follows the lake and a hiking trail is also available. Lots of picnic areas and a shelter house is available.
Lovely lake, good location. Bathrooms are porta potties that are not clean. Grounds ok. Not much public participation
.
The walking paths are probably one of the best ones in the area, especially for the water view. There's a shelter house, a small playground, 2 different roads to access the lake from for fishing or just hanging out, picnic tables, grills, and a boat ramp.
It's always been a clean park whenever I go, and you don't get harassed by the ducks or geese for food, because they aren't friendly enough and don't associate humans with food. The bass fishing is really nice here thanks to the lilypads.
This is a great park to spend the afternoon or evening. Easy hiking, beautiful scenery, walking path, fishing, playground and picnics areas. I take my boys here several times a year!
There's only one small playing area for kids, but a decent little walking path and fishing. So it depends on why you go.
Really like going down here to exercise walking all the trails but the trails are getting in disrepair could use some work on them
Very well taken care of place.public pavilions. And grills "charcoal" nice walking path black top and a hiking path short but very nice park. Play area for kids great place to see and enjoy the outdoors with your family.
Duck duck duck goose. This place is ok. Nice short trail. Just dont feed the ducks. They have been fed so much theh have the feather to come uo to yiyr tAble and pull the nuggets out of a 4yr olds hands. Quackin me up but he didnt appreciate it.
I like to ride bikes and walk with my children and wife. With the paths around the play area and picnic area it makes you feel safe and also view the lake as well.
As far as state parks go, this place barely qualifies to me. It is very small and there is a very minimal amount of things to do here. I only saw 1 playground set and a few places to eat by the lake (I would feel better calling it a pond).
