ADT Security Services, Cincinnati OH

They sold us a bunch of Google cameras that we asked them not to install because they were destroying our house with just the install of the security system. The system has never worked correctly to begin with and the system arms itself randomly and goes off in the middle of the night for no reason. Then they charged an extra $4800 for the cameras that were never installed and de-activated our system when we refused to pay for something that was never installed. If you want entrust your family’s safety to a bunch of swindlers and rip off artists, you should call ADT.

After 26 yrs. With them the customer service has gotten terrible. We canceled our service. We had new windows installed and would need our sensors reinstalled. We called and let ADT know. We were told We wouldn't be charged for 2 months or until the window sensors were replaced a work order was suppose to been set up it wasn't and they want us to pay knowing we didn't have service even though they said we won't be charged. I will not recommend the company anymore. This is theft by deception. Not what you want from a security company. If you have them cancel if you are looking be careful ADT won't provide good service and you can not trust them to follow through with what the say they will provide.

Terrible experience from start to finish. Lets start with the equipment barely works! The techs works off commission and will just start installing things you didn't ask for, they may even tell you its free. Customer service is atrocious. If you want something that doesn't do very well at securing your home buy a goldendoodle. My system was up for less than 24 hours before I realized they installed a bunch of plastic devices throughout home that beeps every now and then. Big Foot himself could walk on my porch and I would not be alerted. Have I mentioned this was 5 weeks ago and I have yet to be refunded? ! The district manager is also terrible and refuses to contact me. Going into this I knew Ring was cheaper but for convenience I went with ADT. Now I totally understand why the companies stock is valued at $5.95 as of this review. Will be a penny stock soon. In short they have a product that doesn't work and some dishonest employees who failed to complete the most simple task for me. Forgot to mention after they picked up every piece of poorly functioning equipment they billed me for the next month although I told them the next day to come pickup all their plastic! Plenty more failures but I’m too tired to type more…may add to this later if I’m feeling fancy!

The camera they installed doesn't even pick up when I pull in my driveway with motion detection, and they didn't dispatch anyone 20 minutes after my alarm was triggered. I mean my 20 dollar ring Camera does better than a 68 dollar a month security center. Also don't expect the glass break sensor to even function. They have been a disappointment that's why they lock you in for 3 years.
