Spent over 40k on a john deer tractor here and couldn't even get a john deer hat. Bad sales people. Then it show up with enough fuel to get to my barn outback. Bad business.

Bought a brand new X570, was not shown how anything worked, bare minimum of gas in it on the way home the bagger fell off the tractor onto the trailer, got it home began checking it over deck and front tractor spindles not greased, 1/2 quart of engine oil low, deck was not level front mower deck hanger was not installed correctly. Manual must of been in water all pages are smeared or stuck together, mower deck parts just thrown in bagger. Will never return to chardon! Probably my first.and last John deere.

We had them service our old john deere tractor. The hydraulic steering & lift were not working. They replaced a bunch of o-ring seals and after alot of expensive labor hours said it was 2 valve's, one for the steering and one for the hydraulic lifting. Then they said they couldn't get the parts from john deere or the secondary market. They charged us 4400 dollars to "diagnose" the problem, their words. We talked face to face on the issue and they said that really the bill would be 11000 but they were cutting us a deal. So we paid 4400, got our old tractor back that still doesn't work properly and we'll see them in small claims court. Don't have our Hope's up but can't take it lying down so to speak. So we lost in small claims court as the judge concluded we did not show a preponderance of evidence. Now mind you, Cope didn't respond at all to the court date prior to and the "service" person we dealt with all along didn't show up to the court date and some John Deere corporate guy called us days before the court date trying to settle "out of court". But the judge said we didn't show enough evidence that we got ripped off. Oh well, at least we had our day in court. The system seems to be skewed against the "little guy". Just my opinion.
