Tammy is great with both women's and men's hair - she did my friends wedding along with Jamie who is also a stylist at AJAV's. I recommend both of them!

Atmosphere appears professional. Had a cut and perm. Unfortunately I could not thoroughly tell how it turned out until it dried. Hairdresser did not offer to dry my hair at all which would have given me that opportunity. That evening after it dried it was extremely evident she had butchered my hair let alone gave me enough layers which left my hair looking like an upside down bell. Cut nearly completely straight the whole circumference all around. Saddest thing is I came in with hair measuring 16 inches long from the base of my scull and ended up being almost 7 inches. That was NOTwhat we verbally agreed to but was to be 4 to 5 inches at the MOST. There IS no " come back and we'll make it right. " You cannot give me back my extra 4 inches that was chopped off. My hair after drying looks like dry ramen noodles definitely not a spiral perm with any proper shape. If you don't know how to properly apply a spiral perm on longer hair you should not except the offer. COMPLETELY DISGUSTED.

I went there one week before my high school’s homecoming dance. The nails the blonde chick did (acrylic stilettos) looked like I’d already been wearing them for 2 weeks. It was actual garbage. I took them off the day after homecoming. Great job, lol.
Edit: I forgot to mention that all the nails were wildly disproportionate. If you sat the same finger up side by side, one would be a full 2 millimeters taller than the other.

April and her staff are phenomenal professionals! Highly recommend Ajav's.boutique has top fashion clothing, jewelry, shoes, purses and accessories!

My husband and i went 3 weeks ago.i got a fill & he got a pedi.i really LOVED my nails at first then the polish started coming off.i messaged the boss and she said i could come in and they’d make it right.so, it doesn’t hurt.i went back a week later so they could fix it.i just went to Decatur to get my nails done and found out that not only was the polish gel, my nails were also falling off.i had 4 nails replaced because the lady who did my nails at ajav didn’t tell me my nails were gonna come off.other than that, everyone was really friendly & polite, but it just isn’t the place for me

I LOVE going to see Leslie to get my nails done. Not only does she do an incredible job but her patience and kindness to my 4 year old jabberjaws n touch everything is beyond incredible.

Go where you feel comfortable. I love the shop and the employees that make up this salon. April and her gang are the best and always keeping it new and fresh! Don't forget the shopping you can do in the same area. New do and a new outfit. What a great treat for you or a gift for someone who deserves.

April and Alexus have always been the two I trust the most with my hair. I refuse to go anywhere else. Being a military wife and Bryan being my home town, I always schedule my appointments corresponding to my visits home bc they are just that AWESOME! ️

Very welcoming and sweet staff members. They do an outstanding job couldn’t ask for better place!
