Akron ArtWorks reviews
7Had so much fun at Akron ArtWorks for a pet portrait painting event. I highly recommend taking a class. Micah and his team were lovely.
A great studio to learn and explore. Took the 7-week adult beginner watercolor class. Micah is a great instructor! Learned basic techniques with time to practice. Appreciate his insight and kindness.
My 6yr.old grandson loved his drawing class with Miss Melissa. We will be signing up for more classes in the fall.
Had a fantastic time creating "works of art" at the Akron Artworks Paint Pour Workshop for adults - I went with a group of friends but it's the type of activity you could also go to on your own. Staff was friendly and helpful and encouraged creativity and exploration. Space was clean and bright. Two single person/gender neutral restrooms. Easy parking in lot in front of the building.
Super place to learn, explore, and do, try various art media/experience/projects as well as world renowned artists and their "style. " Very helpful encouraging staff. All supplies/materials provided in class fee/s. Wonderful gift for another, too! See studies/examples/media: "alcohol ink, " here on ceramic tile; cut paper: Henri Matisse; acrylic paint a`la Georgia O'Keefe & Jackson Pollack.
My daughters have attended various classes since they opened. From birthday parties, camps, and now classes- the staff is so knowledgeable and it's wonderful to have a local art center in our community.
Fabulous wine and art evening. Learn about an artist (Bansky) and paint in their oeuvre.
