We had a family emergency recently. Our elderly Dad was out of state with his dog when he had a medical emergency.
I called Alexander’s Kennel after getting the referral from a local vet. Janette at Alexander’s Kennel did not hesitate to come to our rescue. She went far beyond what their services normally provide. She picked up Dad’s sweet Rosie dog from his car in a tire store parking lot and provided her a warm bed and food and water. Dad’s nearest family member was more than 4 hours away. Janette arranged for Rosie to stay the night and kept her safe and well until family could reach her. She even packed Rosie a to go doggie bag for her trip home.
I don’t know what we would have done without Janette’s willingness to go above and beyond the kennel’s normal services. Some people have a business that cares for animals but some people really care about the animals and the humans they belong to. Thank you so much Janette for helping us in our time of need!

Jeanette, family and crew are the best. All of our pups have been regulars here for 20+ years. A bit of a drive from our home, but out only choice when going away. We schedule out vacations around their availability. Enough said!

This kennel is not the kennel for you unless you have the perfect dog that is well behaved and just likes to lay down. We came to Daytona beach for vacation and one day into our vacation they are calling us telling me that my dogs are being destructive and they are talking about me paying for property damage. Hours later they are asking me to call the vet and get anxiety medicine. I do this and I get anxiety medicine for my dogs and then they decide to give my dogs more medicine than what my vet prescribed. I had to end up getting family members to come get my dogs so they didn’t keep making my property damage fee keep going up. This place is very unprofessional and aren’t adequate to watch your dogs or run a kennel. Basically ruined my families vacation with all the complaints.

They took great care of our boy. We were happy to know he was in good hands. Would definitely return to them again. Just wish they would send a picture or two when on a long vacation to reassure you that your pup is doing well.

Our dog simply loves Alexander's Kennels. Zoe has a bag of "kennel toys" and when it comes out, she gets excited because she knows where she is going (and she literally drags me from the car into the office). She comes home healthy and happy - we are boarding her at a place where we know she is loved.
