The matzo ball soup and Reuben was so good. We also got their kugel, which was a weekly special, and it was delicious. The staff was attentive and friendly, as well. We will definitely be back!

I wish i liked this. Place is great people are nice.
But, food is so overpriced like insanely.

Delicious Reuben sandwich and potato pancakes. Giving 4 starts instead of 5 specifically for the price. Many of the reviews talk about this but $60+ for 2 sandwiches and sides before a tip and no drinks is very pricey. It's easily the most expensive sandwich I've ever had.

Great food and friendly staff. The Turkey pastrami sandwich, matzo ball soup, and tomato bisque were all incredible.

The tomato basil bisque was hands down the best soup I’ve ever had! I got that with half a turkey pastrami, and the ingredients were fresh. I felt like the price aligned well with the quality of food. Will definitely be back!

Walked in and sat right away. This was our first time eating here. The server was extremely helpful and answered any question we had. The food came out in good time, and to say it was delicious is a major understatement. There were 5 of us in our party. Personally, I had the tongue sandwich, and it was the best I've had. Others ordered the Reuben sandwich and were very impressed. We will definitely be coming back!

I was expecting the corn beef to be amazing and it is. I wasn’t expecting the cheesecake and hamantaschen to be so darn good. But, they are! Best ever.

Soup tasted home made

Really wanted to like this place, as it brings something unique to Dayton.

I was originally put off by the expensive prices when the place opened up, however as more people uploaded their photos I quickly realized the portions sizes are worth it.

The service is 110%, EXCELLENT!

Looking around and the size of other people's sandwiches when we arrived confirmed my previous thoughts, but when I ordered a Ruben, I was left disappointed with the size. I asked if it was normal after looking at other customers and they confirmed it's how they are. I just feel for the prices listed, and the smaller portion, I'd rather make a special trip to Izzy's in Cincinnati.

However, the matzo ball soup, and potato pancakes are amazing, I'll definitely be coming back for that!

Overall, excellent flavor, great service, great environment, just not the best bang for your buck, but hey, definitely come by at least once and form your own opinion, it's at least worth that!

Glad to see this actual Deli in Dayton! The service and people were excellent. Good location at Whip and Alex Bell Rd (route 48).
The Potato Pancakes were amazing. Three on a platter with sour cream and applesauce. Would order those again. The Knish look great as well.
And they have Dr Brown's Sodas!
My Matzo Ball soup was very good.
My mother's chicken noodle soup - she loved it.
My corned beef sandwich was OK. I thought it could have been warmer and more flavorful. There were some super fatty unchewable slices of corned beef that I had to remove. Hoping that was an exception to the rule.

The Seeded Rye bread that the sandwiches come on was excellent and my Mom loved her white bread on hers.

The deli case looked enticing. We will return to try the Cheesecake.

And yes. Other reviews complained that it's pricey. It is a little pricey.

We ordered catering for a customer visit at my work. It was something different from the usual Panera/Potbelly/McAllister's and I have to admit I was a bit nervous to try something new but this place was AWESOME. Hands down the best corned beef on rye I have ever had. The potato salad and macaroni salad were phenomenal. 10/10! Highly recommend and can't wait to order again!

Finally a Jewish deli in Dayton! Food is really exceptional. Most amazing potato pancakes. (latkes). Yeah, a little pricey, but the food is really top-notch. Personally, I cannot stand chicken liver, but they did give me a sample, which was not too bad. They also have a bakery with homemade amazing goods.

Ok. This is the e best sandwich place in ohio. Hands down. The service is amazing macaroni salad flawless brownie on point

This place is incredible. The potato pancakes were so delicious, also loved the tuna melt & Reuben. The macaroni salad and potato salads both 10/10! Great service, super clean, highly recommend.

We had lunch catered in and had a sampling of traditional items. I was late getting to the spread they brought but everything I sampled was fresh and delicious! Chicken salad, turkey, coleslaw, red skin potato salad. Brownies were amazing. Look forward to visiting and trying more!
