I have been living in their apartment complex for over a year now. I really enjoy my apartment and I have my own parking assignment. When you visit the leasing office and or call in, they are so pleasant to deal with. They are very helpful and the apartment complex is very clean. I will be renewing my lease again.

By far one of the best property management companies going in the cleveland area. The employees are are fabulous and go above and beyond and leave zero issues or concerns unresolved. You can tell this ownership group cares about their employees as everyone is just a joy to work with for anything you need!

I've lived at a Floridian Building in Brooklyn, a property that Almico now manages, for 6 years. Previously ran by Fodor.

Before,
The rent was decent and maintenance used to be somewhat efficient and you could get ahold of them within a day/ would answer calls for emergency maintenance.

When Almico took over, Everything went downhill.
I am respectful to my neighbors, I am pretty quiet, and I pay my rent early if not, at the very least on time. The rent just recently jumped almost $30 on my last lease renewal, And for it, They've been almost impossible to contact about anything including having no heat when it's in the low 30s out. A few newer tenants moved into my building, one of which makes all kinds of noise at all times of night any day of the week, Almico does nothing about it.

Almico hasn't done much except jump my rent 30 bucks when every year prior hasn't jumped more than $5-$10. Very Irritated and considering moving after this lease is up.

Recently moved back to cleveland from pittsburgh. The app process was a little rocky because I wasnt living in cleveland.but the office staff made everything go smooth. They were extremely helpful in trying to find an apartment that suited me and very accommodating despite my hectic schedule. The leasing lady was very friendly and patient while I asked that she show me just about every open model available! I asked several questions, and she was prompt and professional in getting back to me. Its only been 2 months but I'm excited for the following months to come!

Good company with great office staff. The girls in the office are so sweet. I beeen living in my apartment for almost 8 years I think this company is very successful and is filled with wonderful people! The onsite maintenence guy is so nice and helpful. Ever since ALmico took over, I haven’t had any complaints. Keep up the great work!

Very thankful for Almico. Will be recommending my friends to them. The leasing agent was very helpful and kept me updated through every step and didn't hesitate to work after business hours. The employees are friendly. The original unit I wanted got taken before I could get my deposit in, I guess their units go quick, so I recommend if you see something you like to go online or in person to fill out an application right away. The agent was very apologetic and approved me for another unit, and I feel it was better than the original one I wanted. Ive been living here for about 4 months, Ive had a couple of maintenance issues but the maintenance guy for my building is always readily available. 10/10 would recommend! Thanks Almico!

If I could give Almico properties a negative zero, I would. I rented an apartment for one year when Fodor Mgmt was managing the property. Then Almico took over. I loved the apartment with hardwood floors and the location. I wanted to transfer to another unit, not necessarily in the same building or adjacent buildings but another location, but they considered that to be a transfer. I decided to move because I wanted a 3rd floor unit. The unit was move-in ready. I made certain every inch of the apartment was cleaned. They did not necessarily have to paint but most landlords paint for new tenants. Nevertheless, I was looking forward to my deposit to be returned to me in full. It took 6 weeks for me to get the check, after numerous phone calls and office visits. They had claimed to have mailed it in December, but I got it 2nd week in January 2019. Finally, received the check and it was $300 less than what I was expecting. They told me they charged me for repainting. Even for the ceilings. I couldnt believe what I was reading. Normal wear and tear of property, they cannot charge for. (Excessive yes, but normal absolutely not.) They told me they had pictures. I told them I have pictures and video before I moved in and after I vacated. Took my proof to their office and three days later, I got the remainder of my deposit. I was determined to get what was mine. Persistents pays and if not, court surely would have been the next step. Im glad this nightmare is over. Please.dont ever move into a property without doing your own walk-thru before and after vacating the premises. If not, you will surely regret it.

I have been living here for many years. My requests are handled in a timely manner, neighbors are always watching out for each other and the new staff is great! I don’t plan on moving anytime soon. Keep up the good work Almico!
