Amato's Mount Vernon / Burrata Woodfired reviews
16It was our first time here, and the food and service were excellent! We will definitely be visiting them again!
Wonderful food big portions the steak in my black and Bleu salad was cooked to perfection. Same with the grilled platter. Don't be in a hurry though wait staff is a little slow.
First time there. The food we ordered was delicious. Quick for lunch. Good service. Will definitely go back.
Excellent pizza. Love the flavor of wood-fired pizza, and Amato's does not disappoint.
Very good food and service. Good selection of pizzas and other things. Wings were perfectly cooked.
I've had Amato's in Delaware, OH so I'm thinking these restaurants are affiliated and I experienced good pizza in Delaware. I was disappointed by the lack of taste, topping and FLAVOR! I think Jersey Mike's has more flavor with their oregano flakes then my family's pizzas! Pizza had ZERO wood grill flavor and toppings were poor quality, the cheese doesn't even melt! Pizza is expensive for the amount of toppings you receive, pizzas aren't huge anyways so why charge $1.50 for red onions when they aren't even thin wedges, half moons, barely any diced onion. Very disappointed, definitely won't return with so many great pizzas out there! Service wasn't great either for being a sit down restaurant.
Welcomed as soon as we walked in. They have quite the menu, something for everyone! We got jalapeño popper pizza and the angry pig (THIS WAS THE BOMB). The service was amazing. Constant checking in and making sure we were happy. This is a must visit.
Food and service are very good. Pizza (San Georgeio) was tasty but not filling. Our waitress was excellent!
The food is very good, and I’ve tried many things on the menu, but be prepared to spend a few dollars, it’s worth it
Unless you want to wait a week to get your food don’t come here. Also ordered a large pizza and it was like a small and it was burnt. Never again!
We were there to hear my son be interviewed by the guys from WMVO in Mt. Vernon on Tuesday night. A waitress named Katie wouldn’t let us sit at a table “because she had a table of 10 coming in” yet they don’t take reservations. We wanted to be able to see the interview as it was happening, that’s why we sat there to begin with. There were also plenty of seats available when we sat down. Katie continued to yell at not only my son but his coach too because we wouldn’t just get up. I am highly disappointed in the way she handled this situation, and most likely will not be eating here again if she is working.
Stopped for lunch after picking my brother up at the airport. We opted for sandwiches, and we weren't disappointed. Meatball and Italian subs, delicious, we split them and enjoyed a great meal. Amato's is a great place to dine, I highly recommend!
The wood-Fired Pizza and Service was fantastic. I will be to eat here again. This place is not expensive either. Enjoy the experience.
Food and draft selection have been on point the last few times I've been. Overall a really good spot.
Went here for lunch. House salad and wood fired pizza was excellent. As all restaurants, short on staff but did a great job. Big bar area with TVS and a dining area. Good selection of foods other than pizza too. Will return when in area again.
Great anti-pasta salad, pesto bread, sandwich! SIMPLY great food we enjoyed with family. Have been there many times food always wonderful!
