5I purchased this warranty through a Ford dealership in Tulsa. 8 year 85K mile BUMPER to BUMPER warranty. Transmission takes a dump, that's not covered. Last time I checked the transmission is located between the bumpers. Even a powertrain only warranty covers the transmission. $4K for a worthless warranty.
I purchased a service contract in March of 2021 on a 2017 Forest River Georgetown. The contract is the Superior with the added audio/video portion as well. My fourth trip out this year my slide will not retract. I take the coach to the dealer the next week and the dealer calls and tells me the service provider denied the claim. Now let me tell you the entire motor, cable and chain system completely separated from the wall and came apart, chains, cables, motors all torn apart from the wall. So I call and speak with a Bill and his supervisor Rick Deneski and Rick tells me it is because of the wall and they will not cover it. What? The motor ripped apart from the wall, that is mechanical and structural. Anyway after trying to get my point across to Rick I knew he wasn’t backing down. This is absurd, I paid $7495.00 for the contract with a maximum benefit of $10,000, that is really only a $2500.00 benefit even if you used the entire maximum. This plan is ridiculous, don’t buy it, don’t let the dealer sell you on it, they look for ways to deny claims and try to argue semantics. Bottom line is this is an absolute worthless service contract.
Worthless and an absolute scam of a automotive extended warranty coverage company. I owned a car for 3 months, which soon began to trigger intermittent service lights. The dealership ran a diagnostic test, and recommended a sensor. 4 days later, a service 4WD light came on. I attempted to drive back to the dealership, 3 miles away, but had to stop after 2 blocks and got it towed. I was told it needed a transfer case; no problem.warranty coverage, right? This worthless warranty company said: because I did not get a senor changed, it caused the transfer case to go out, and it's not covered. This is mechanically impossible! A sensor denotes a problem, it doesn't cause a problem. Avoid this trash at all cost!
I am a professional repair shop and I deal with many warranty companies. As you can imagine, some are better than others. This one was great to deal with. I spoke with Jordan and he was very helpful efficient and we were able to resolve my customer's repair to everyone's satisfaction. Remember, warranty companies are not obligated to make your car or truck new again, they are obligated to make it just as it was before it broke down. You can either be upset that they didn't pay for everything or you can be happy knowing you got an expensive repair at a huge discount. I choose to be happy! Thank you Jordan for your professional attitude and performance. -Kit Lindsay, owner, Lindsay Transmission Service in Warrensburg, MO.
Never kept their word on what they were going to do, i had my truck in the shop for almost 3 months because of them. They told me they would pay for tear down fees and then when everything was settled they hit me with a $1300 bill for tear down fees. Do NOT go through these people.
