AIHCP is my goto resource for continuing education. The courses offered are highly beneficial both academically, and in my practice professionally. - Patrick Cooper, Ph. D.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I saw the need to learn more about grief and how it affects the individual. I stay pretty busy with my current career and needed a school that fit my time schedule. AIHCP was recommended to me. I am so glad I signed up for the classes and could move through them at my own pace. The content was great and moved me into a deeper understanding of what my clients were facing and even touched on my own losses. Having my FAAGC allows me even more latitude as I am the only one in my area who has this fellow. I am now working on Grief Support Group Practitioner because AIHCP makes it possible!

I studied with AIHCP and received a certificate in Spiritual Christian Counseling. The PROS: affordable, can work at your own pace, this is good for self-directed people. The CONS: the website needs to be revamped. The website feels like it is from 2000. I'm not on facebook, so I don't know if there is much student engagement on facebook. The forums on the website don't have engagement. However, if you want to work on your own, AIHCP is okay.

Being a stay at home Mom for more than 20 years, I decided to look for an online counseling job from one of the leading job sites in US; as a result there was one employment ad that was looking for applicants that are certified with AIHCP. This led me to look up the latter and the rest is history. In April 2023, I obtained my Spiritual Christian Counseling Certification. Glory to God!

Spiritual Counseling is mentioned in Geri Miller’s book, as one of the therapies that Crisis Intervention uses, along with Grief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Brief Therapy or Solution-Focused Therapy. All these therapies are part of AIHCP’s Spiritual Christian Counseling Certification program, besides Christian Counseling, Christian Mentoring, and Christian Prayer and Meditation.
Indeed, AIHCP’s Spiritual Christian Counseling program is very comprehensive.

The Christian Counseling course alone meticulously explains the causes and effects of every issue or problem humanity has ever experienced and clearly guides counselors on how to do the counseling process in a practical and specific way in the light of God’s Word.

Getting certified with AIHCP made me more confident as an effective counselor and it also motivated me to explore more, thus I am working on another certification program with them.

As a certified Spiritual Christian Counselor I am praying that God will guide me to help others get to know Him, have a meaningful life, “bounce back from trauma, ” develop constructive thoughts and behaviors to cope with problems, and realize that God forgives, restores and strengthens. Isaiah 40: 29 says, “ He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. ”

The AIHCP’s Executive Director, staff, and instructors are humble, gracious and considerate people. I highly esteem each one that I come into contact with in this prestigious organization.

AIHCP offers a well thought out and comprehensive training for Certified Grief Counselor.
The classes are well laid out to cover all age categories and approach from multiple cultures.

This program was great for me in so many aspects. I feel that I maintained the same level of engagement throughout all the courses, with the information that was covered, as I did while earning both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I can clearly see that my initial understanding of hypnosis and hypnotherapy was basic, and now I have a very strong foundation and the knowledge of how to apply what I have learned.

The tuition at AIHCP is very reasonable and the self-pace format aligns perfectly with family and a full-time job. The quick and thorough responses from staff is reassuring as well.

What helps my confidence is knowing I will be able to continue using all of the course materials I obtained throughout the program for as long as I am practicing in the field.

I had an amazing experience with AIHCP while earning my Grief Counseling Certification. I learned a wealth of knowledge that complimented my personal experiences with grief. More importantly, what I learned is applicable to my private grief counseling practice. I will definitely be taking my continuing education classes with AIHCP and pursuing additional certifications.

I celebrate my decision to sign up for the classes on Pastoral Thanatology, the content was awesome, the instructions was easy to navigate, it afforded me deeper understanding of the subject matter. I wanted and needed a change in careers. I found EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) Tapping. Then was diagnosed with breast cancer and wanted to learn everything I could to dive deeper into EFT and start an online Cancer Coaching Business, utilizing EFT to help improve other cancer patient’s lives, as it did mine!
