Neil is the best of the best when it comes to recording rock bands. Agreeable rates plus attention to detail when it comes to mixing. One of the coolest dudes I’ve ever met.
I have worked somewhere around a dozen sessions at AEC and cut/released many records and singles born there. It seems we always find new ways to get the best out of the room and our playing. Neil is a master engineer, collaborator and facilitator who is always eager to outdo our last project, and that is motivation enough to keep coming back – not to mention the final products just keep getting better and better. I love this studio.
Amish Electric Chair Studio is an incredible place make a record. Neil is more than accommodating and is incredibly knowledgeable, he is there to help every step of the way. Worked on 2 albums there and couldn’t be happier with the result, will definitely be going back.
Neil is a passionate dude who dives deeply into any project he is a part of. He has great musical sensibility is very versatile. Though his specialty is crafting slamming hard rock/punk/metal tracks, he has a nuanced and focused approach to recording music that ensures high quality results for clients in any genre. 10 stars out of 5.
