Amul India Restaurant, Dublin OH

This is a disgusting place without ethics. I call them at 8.45 PM and place an order and the guy who took the order asked me to be there after 25 mins. I go there and he says I never placed an order, I was a regular at this place. I’ve even called them a couple of times and let them know the food was delicious. I showed him my call log on my phone and asked him to check the call log on his phone he had my name at 8.46PM yet he says I haven’t placed an order. How audacious he is? Look at his nerve not even apologetic about the mishap at his end. I will log in all possible places and give them a single star for poor management.

They have changed how the food is served. You no longer get bread you have to pay for it and on some of their meals the rice is mixed with the protein and not served separately anymore! I want to be able to have my protein kept separate like they use to do! I am very disappointed that the prices didn't go down with the food portions!

Are they under new ownership? We came here several times a month in 2019 and we LOVED it. We came back today and had a very different experience. Not only did the saag paneer taste like it was mixed with tomato sauce, it was orange. I’m just really confused. My husband said his food tasted like bland orange water. A cockroach crawled along the wall of our booth. I’m so sad. We used to love this place.

This place is pretty good. The food itself is very flavorful and rich. The tikka masala was creamy and delicious. The Kadahi ginger chicken tasted very similar to the tikka masala. The chicken vindaloo was also awesome. The samosas were decent a little bland. The bread was very good as well.

Prices were alright. Not outrageous a little on the higher side. The portions were decent on the larger side. I managed to eat all my food but definitely could have gotten a box.

Service was good and quick. Food came out quickly. Servers were all prompt and polite. Overall very good experience.

They've recently had to raise prices (like it seems most restaurants have) but it's still worth it. Good service and good quality Indian food.

This is my go-to dinner on the weekends. Great selection and the aloo nan is a must! The Tikka Masala is the best.

Absolutely delicious food, best place for North Indian food in Columbus. We catered from them for a party. Everything from appetizers to main course as well as dessert was wonderful. Our guests and we liked the food so much. The owner called the same evening to ask for feedback, which was really nice too. Highly recommended!

Holy Smokes, save your money. Our meal has to have been the most bland tasting Indian food that I have ever eaten. Not only was the lamb so overcooked that it was positively dried out, but the sauce it was in was pretty close to tasteless. My wife swore that the chicken Tikka Masala
tasted of campbell's tomato soup. Yuk. No complexity of flavors here folks. Never again!

Horrible run down ketchup slurry came as tomato soup for take out.had been for dine in the previous afternoon got good tomato soup.ordered the same for take out the next day drove from powell to get utterly disappointed.gave us terrible heartburns.not being charged any less for this substandard stuff.when contacted you get a reply that they will check it with the chef and get back.but they are never to be heard back again from.

This restaurant has NO IDEA what it means by an Indian curry. I mean how can you mess up a Simple Rogan Josh that bad! Simple suggestion “Don’t order” from this if you want Indian food, it’s pathetic!

I will not even give this place a 1 star! O is the perfect rating for this dump of a place. I mean where do I start- started planning a wedding with this place last year and they just backed out today and our wedding is next week!
The owner is rude and cussed out my wedding planner and my Mom and I.

This is not the old owners- coming from an indian family and raised in Columbus this used to be a staple for us- but with the new owners beware.
Many new indian restaurants that are worth it! And do not give your business if you are planning a wedding-they will back out on you- not reliable, rude and not worth your time! We are now going with Awadh-better food and service and loyalty

Columbus has a rich offering when it comes to Indian food. However, some obviously take the curry more than others. This is one of the best in Columbus. The dining room is dark with a black painted ceiling making for an interesting dining experience. My food here is always excellent.

Very sad dining experience. We have been here several times for the lunch buffet on a busy weekday. We had far better table service during a packed dining room over a very empty dining room. The chicken Tikka masala was tough and dry. A simple dish, yet disappointed. We had to ask twice for a take out box for leftovers. We are all very disappointed as this was our second favorite Indian restaurant and now we will have to look elsewhere.

Good service and all. But when you come for Indian food you want larger portions. Especially coming from California. These portions are a lot smaller and the food is way more expensive than what were used to paying out there for the same items. Not sure why. Still looking for our go to Indian restaurant in Ohio.

We ordered from here (via Uber eats) after seeing all the amazing reviews and were so shook when it arrived. Firstly, it takes forever. Secondly, they forgot one of the items we ordered, i.e. Kheer. Thirdly, their portions are so small. Like the biriyani box easily fit in my palm. Chicken tikka masala was alright. I could taste the tomato part, like it wasn’t cooked until “rawness” went away. Kadhai ginger lamb was really good, nice rich flavor. Lamb biriyani, butter Naan and rice were alright.

Decent Indian place, but we might just go pick up next time to ensure we get everything and can eat quicker.

I went last night for dinner we ordered bullet nan it was so thick and raw I order another one same result we started eating than guy came and asked me “everything is ok? ” I said no bullet nan is not well cooked he says ok and left if you don’t want to do any thing why come and asked me then we ordered veggie Biryani big potato in rice they call Biryani they give big Quantity but total waste

Worst catering experience ever! We ordered food from Atul India for a get together in our house. We have ordered from Amul India before and the food was good so we decided to order. Saag Chole and Kadhai ginger chicken were super spicy hot. We always order medium hot when we place the order and we did this time as well. But the food was so so spicy hot my guests could not eat anything. That was the most embarrassing moment for us. We ordered so much food and no one could even take a whole bite.
Next day when I called and told them the food was so hot the owner simply said sorry and told me to throw away the food. What a great customer service that is just tell your customers to spend so much money and tell them to just throw it away. Never never ordering from this place again. There are other good Indian restaurants in the town with reasonable price. AMUL INDIA you are a disappointment. Worst restaurant and worst customer service! I wish I could give you 0 stars.

Great place for Indian food. It's my go to takeout place, even though it's a bit of a drive. If you do dine in, the servers are very attentive.

The parking lot of the shopping center is a mess, but that's not their fault.
