Animal Care Center of Fairfield reviews
27Kennel both of my dogs when I went on vacation. When I picked him up both had kennel cough and my boxer has by now and this right eye. If there was an option for zero that’s what I would rate.them.
Dr Wendy is the best. The staff are great. They were very attentive to all the concerns and answered all questions that I had. I would highly recommend Animal Care Center to everyone.
They sold me on the wellness plan on all the stuff it covered it would save so much money it wouldn't make sense not to sign up for it. Except they never told me it's not a savings you literally have to pay back everything and I still had to pay for things when I took her. Also the online scheduling doesn't work anymore. Everytime I took my dog in, a few days later I would get a notification that she was due for a preventative shot that I don't understand why they couldn't have done that when I was just there. I understand that their wellness plan isn't pet insurance I just wish they wouldn't have explained it to me like it was because when I went to cancel it because she hadn't been back in a few months, I had to pay the full balance up front.
So I've been going to this same place for over a year now, they provide a pretty good protection plan for your animal and provide pretty well care besides two incidents that has been recent. Today I went in to get my dog's ears tested and treated for allergies. He came out with a bloody face and 3 long scratch marks. The vet never notify me at all and I did not realize till getting home that he was bleedy from his neck and his right cheek. Second incident was with the same vet Alyssa Myers, this time she provided my dog with a steroid for his allergy. This steroid never helped any symptoms of his allergies but also gave him side effects that were also not told to me by my vet. So overall, DO NOT go to ALYSSA MYERS. She cares more about selling her medicine instead of notifying you about your dog.
Pretty sure they care more about raking your bank account than they do about the care of your pet.
We have had the unfortunate experience of having to lay two dogs to rest in the last year and they were so dang sweet and caring. I don’t know where you find these doctors, but they are unbelievable.
This place is the best. The doctors truly care for your pet like their own. The vet techs are so pleasant and caring and takes fantastic care of your pets. Everyone from the front desk to the techs to the doctors are 10's. Highly recommend this facility.
There a shady vet, that will Louie to coder terre mistakes. I will never go to this vet again and my cat is still getting the danger problem that was supposed to be taken care many hundreds later and her still is not well. The staff is rude and unproffesional.
I love it my first day today and great place I recommend to everyone is not for dog and cat I saw today a bird great place 10/10 for you guys snoopy love the lady
Saved my cats life couldnt thank everyone who helped take care of Little Bear enough. He's happier than ever and so energetic. Definitely recommend
Kylie was so nice and caring today. I really appreciate the time and attention that she gave me concerning my dog who has Congestive Heart Failure and is on a lot of meds. When you're dealing with something so serious and expensive, it's comforting to have someone that is patient and understanding. Thanks Kylie, you made my day!
When my baby Doc got sick after UCAN neutered him, animal care clinic swooped in and kept him for two nights giving him the care he needed. They were so caring and loving towards him and didn't mind me constantly calling to check on him. They did a fantastic job and he is back to his old self now! The staff here is wonderful!
I board my 14 month old puppy there during my daytime work hours 4-5 days a week. I'm so impressed with their affection and wonderful care for him! Quality care and very affordable prices make this a GREAT choice for my pup, Theo and I.
I've taken my younger well cat to this vet since we got her last Fall. They caught her up on her shots and did a basic exam. I appreciated their friendliness, clean facilities, and treatment.
Went to see them because I couldn't get into my regular vet,
staff is very friendly and caring, they took very good care of my dog and answered all my questions. They suggested a few other options for my dogs sensitive ear issues which come up every year, which former vet never mentioned or talked about, I will be having my dogs recorded transferred to them.
Very expensive.they force you to buy the annual membership just to get the vaccines. I went to petco's vet and for $ 73.all vaccines
I had an appointment on 11/15/17. My dog had a loose stool and needed worming medicine. They do fecal exam and tell me no news is good news. Meaning if they dont call it mean my dog is fine. So 11/24/17 I go back to vet because same dog has a hot spot that she keeps digging at and ripping the scab open. As soon as the vet walks in she tells me that my dogs fecal exam from 9 days prior showed she had 2 parasites. So I asked, Why didnt you guys call and tell me that? I was told no news is good news. The vet tells me they probably didnt call because they sent me home with the medicine. IF YOU ASK ME, I should not be charged for a test if I am not going to get the results.no news is good news failed and wasted my money.
End of December or first week of January. I dont remember because i lost my bill. On the website they advertise $10 nail grinding, so I take my two dogs to get there nails trimmed. Both my dogs are show dogs so they are perfectly trained to get groomed and nails trimmed. This was the first time in 5 years that someone new trimmed there nails.so the vet tech does there nails and told me how well behaved my dogs was. So I say thank you and go to pay.my bill for 2 nail trim was $44.it took 5 minutes for both dogs. I look at the bill and the charge $16 for nail trim and $11 more for a nail grind. I said to the cashier that the website says $10 how are you charging $44? They tell me it a different location so I responded with but its the same website. After much complaining I was charged the $10 as advertised. So if a full groom for my dog averages $50-70 at a groom shop and it takes 2 hours for a full groom on a golden retriever.how can a vet charge $16 plus $11 so that $27 for 3 minute nail trim.needless to say I wont be back
69.00 for cremation of my dog then just charge me 198.00.paid 589 for her year health insurance and again no refund.
Last week I had to put my dachshund (Sam) down. It was the worst experience of my life. Dr. Monica was so kind and understanding to me and my daughter. When I called to make the appointment the receptionist was so patient with me because I was so upset. When we arrived the staff made us feel like they were all giving us big hugs. After the procedure when we was leaving the greeter at the door hug us both and was crying with us. I can not say enough about this clinic, I would recommend them to everyone who loves their little fur babies and wants the best care for them. Thank you. Carol Moore
Diagnosed my dog with a tumor. Refused to check him or treat for Horners disease, then cancelled my insurance and sent me to a collection agency without even billing me first. We have been clients there for over 20 years, and now have to find a new vet.
