Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County reviews
17Found 2 little dogs and took them here. It was closed to the public but a fellow customer totally talked to them for us and helped them come out and help us! The first lady we talked to was pretty abrupt and rude we were not fans but 3 more women came out and they totally made up for her annoyance! I totally loved them they were so nice and talked to us nicely and they were SUPER helpful unlike the other lady we spoke to when we first got there! Thanks ladies
Great staff. Large selections of cats. From kittens to older cats. Some dogs. Not a lot. Two rabbits. You can tell the people really care about the animals.
I needed some assistance with food for my dog and they went way and beyond helping me to make sure my baby had food. Very friendly I never even knew that place was there thank you so much for helping
There are great people in the world at first I was kind of embarrassed to ask for help again thanks and god bless
I was actually here working as a contractor but I love their mission, the dogs were well cared for and the facility was very clean, I wanted to bring home every dog that I saw and show them what it's like to be loved. If you are thinking about getting a dog, check here first and when you look into their eyes you'll see why it was a great thing to come here.
My first time here. Wow the place is fantastic. Alot of good animals that will make great pets. Friendly staff clean enclosures
Went there a couple days ago to take a look at a sweet little pupper named Hudson! The facility was beautiful, and the workers were all very kind and helpful! Hoping to hear about my application sometime this week!
Wonderful facility and a great staff. We were able to meet our new family member and friend before taking him home. I would definitely recommend this shelter to anyone looking for a new pet/friend!
Didn't like that I couldn't get to see any animals with out filling out an application for an appointment on line, and couldn't get it to go through on my phone, stupid should be able to speak with someone there even if it is thru a window
The staff was very friendly and the meeting room was perfect. It’s been 7 weeks since I brought Sophie (Sophia) to her furever home. Beautiful 9-1/2 year old bundle of Lab energy. It was an easy process to adopt, even during COVID. Thank you for a great facility ️
Just got a little guy named Spot although we changed it to Zeke since he was a puppy. Superb caring and knowledgeable staff. Animals were well taken care of. Got extras including bed, treats, and a few other things plus neutered, micro chipped, and up to date with vaccinations, dewormer, and flea and tick. All for $200! Older dogs are $150.
Go and check it out you won't be disappointed.
Zeke (white and brown) with his new buddy Cooper!
I live an hour away and was so worth the drive. The staff the process and the facility is wonderful. I have adopted the tiniest kitten with the biggest personality. Thank you guys for doing what ya do!
The staff was understanding and patient with my dog as I signed over the ownership of him and they obtained further information about the dog to understand how to accommodate him.
Very clean facility. I was amazed and very impressed when i walked in. Staff was very nice and helpfull. I adopted Winnie the chi chi pug mix and it was a lengthy process but that showed me they care who their animals go to and that they are in good homes.
Could've given this place 100 stars! If only all shelters were like this one. Large green spaces for the animals outdoors. Surprisingly large kennels. Open, airy, well informed pleasant staff that were familiar with every individual animal. I didn't find a match while there but will keep checking their site.
Oh my goodness, if I could give them ten stars I would! They're so great to their animals, toys and comfortable beds in their kennels. They have a 'play place' for the dogs, their staff is super friendly and very informative, it's refreshing to find a place that really puts 120% into their efforts. Worth donating and volunteering, as well as adopting.
Love this place took my very nervous German Shepard took the vaccine clinic and it was so easy and everyone was so nice and sweet and did an amazing job with my boy Hercules I would highly recommend them and btw i got his distemper and 3 yrs rabies shot all for $16.00 which is unheard of next vaccine drive i totally recommend
