Anthony's Pizzeria reviews
12 The pizza definitely needs about 5 minutes more time when oreeree on a Saturday.
Better when reheated in an air-fryer than when first delivered, but the sauce tastes like spaghetti o's either way.
HORRIBLE PIZZA THE WORST I'VE EVER TASTED NO FLAVOR ON CRUST BURNT BOTTOM DISGUSTING. Bad service no accountability. For poor cook. STAY AWAY
The pizza are great, the ovens are not running though a gas oven, but if your also looking for a slice of pizza, they also sell them by slice
Not good. I am a cautionary tale.
I typically only like to write positive reviews, but this is for folks like me who used to say "there is no bad pizza. " Well, I found it.
I got the Detroit style pepperoni which was undercooked, undercut, and underwhelming. I'm offended on behalf of Detroiters.
Somehow this pizza lacked flavor in such a way that I considered eating the box.
Order at your own risk, learn from my mistake.
Try not to get too many wet toppings because it can soggy but I usually get cheese or pepperoni or supreme and it comes out amazing. I love the yum yum sticks with the nice fresh jalapenos. I'm convinced Anthony's has the best sauce in town- not too sweet, and perfect balance. We order almost every weekend, and always satisfied. Thanks so much!
Y’all this is not it!
As a born and bred Chicagoan I was so excited when I saw this place online but
Let me just say 2 things underwhelming and undercooked
A Chicago style deep dish is about 2in at least then a thick layer of gooey cheese and then any proteins/toppings, lastly layered with a nice serving of sauce
A Proper Deep Dish should require knife and fork to eat it!
I shouldn’t be able to pick up a slice of deep dish with one hand.
The flavor of the sauce was the best part
The dough undercooked almost raw in some spots yet the upper crust was burnt idek how y’all managed an over cooked and undercooked pizza at the same time that’s a new talent!
cheese was not gooey and melty and hardly any sauce on
All in all there was nothing “deep” about this dish
I got the Detroit style pepperoni pizza. The crust actually tasted like mushy cornbread. I didn’t finish it and it was not worth saving. Leftovers went in the trash.
The pizza here has been hit and miss. Sometimes its delicious, other times it is overcooked, dried out, and in some cases burnt. This was the case with my latest order. On top of that they have a "rewards" program where you earn credit for every purchase. You are then supposed to be able to redeem that for free items. Too bad you can get your online order (online service 1 star) to process when you try to use your points. The funny thing was, I couldn't use the points, but they were still deduced from the total points I had accrued. Nice gimmic. I can't say that I would recommend this establishment. It's just too inconsistent.
Traditional quality pizza and modern values, and the lady that tames this best is a brilliant soul with humble talent!
I was punching the air when donatos told me they were sold out of big dons so I tried Anthony's Pizzeria Italian sub it's about the same price and the meat taste way better.pause and seems bigger and longer.anyways yea pretty good spot for a toasted sub!
We used to love this pizza place. We hadn’t ordered since before Covid. We recently got the Detroit style pizza. It was inedible, and we ended up throwing it out after only a couple bites. I have never thrown away pizza. I was extremely disappointed. I don’t know what happened but it’s not the same and we will NOT be back.
Has to be one of the nastiest pizzas I've ever had in Columbus. Way over rated. I wouldn't even have given it one star
