Archers Tavern Centerville reviews
16 Very welcoming atmosphere with no wait on a week night around 7pm. Quick service and drink orders. I had a mix of sweet/unsweetened tea which was a perfect southern blend with the right amount of ice for a hot July, Ohio evening.
I also ordered the pretzel sticks which were delicious and reminded me of a freshly baked Philly pretzel straight from the oven; slightly crunchy on the outside but soft inside. It was served hot with beer cheese which tasted spectacular. For the main dish, I ordered a turkey Ruben but only could eat half due to my overeating of the pretzels and cheese. The sandwich was delicious however bread is filling so note to self- split the main dish with someone.
We were in a hurry so this place was excellent for our dining experience. The cost was not too much for going out on a budget and the food is really delicious. I definitely will go back for more pretzels and to try more delights from the menu.
The best pizza around! I ordered a lunch special pizza with green peppers and sausage. Oh my yum! It was delicious and my new favorite.
Service is very quick and the food always tastes great! Archers is always a fantastic lunch choice with my family. I will continue to support this business.
Food is great, service is generally great. Even when they are busy and there is a wait, it's still rather quick and usually you're seated before the wait time estimated. My dad loves the Sticky Burger and I definitely recommend the Pretzel Sticks or Philly Cheese Steak and Fries!
Long time favorite of ours but seriously disappointed today. Promptly seated but after 10 minutes no greeting, no drinks, no we will be with you, no food, no service. Maybe suffering from lack of help? So sad.
It's a nice place. Service from Tyler was wonderful. Food was pretty good. Service really won the day. We would definitely go back.
Kyle the bartender/sever is amazing and handsome and funny and cute and so good at his job the cat girl there is alright too
Archer's is a low spot for food and drinks. I mostly go for the food, mainly the wing. The wings are on point. Big, just enough breading. The sauces are well balanced, menu descriptions are spot on.
Tried the "sticky burger"+ lettuce, tomato, onion. First half of the butter was interesting as I explored the peanut butter flavor. By the second half I'd rather just have mayo on it instead. Good burger, no gimmick required.
I can't believe I have never been here before. I had a great meal and found a new 1st place chicken meal for me. Only wish I had an Archers where I now live. It's going to be a long time before I can have the Slenders with the sexy sauce. Oh my. Flavor with a kick of heat. Mouth watering as I write this.
Really good food, good service. Only complaint is they were out of two of three seasonal appetizers. But still a great meal.
Food was really good. The server didn't seem super into helping us but the atmosphere was really nice
Very hospitable and neighnotafern. Locals make you feel welcome. Staff works hard and have genuine conversations. Nice portions.
Do not eat the steak or hamburgers. You will never get a decent hamburger because they are always overcooked and they never ask you how you want it done. I tried the steak and it's half an inch thick and is tough. Go for the wings. If they're cooked enough. You'll overpay but they'll be great and the service in the bar area is spot on. Otherwise, overall I feel it's overpriced. They are definitely price gouging but that is with everybody and everything at this time. You shouldn't have to pay $13 for a little chopped salad. I have spoken with the manager and the owner concerning the condition of all the meats, including the chicken wings hamburgers and steaks. I got my money back once. The condition of the food did not change even though I was told that they hired a new chef. *BEWARE THE NEW FRY CHEF* when you see him, if you do, you'll understand. Also, you better be up to date on your vaccines. It's been shut down at least a couple of times. Deaths of said virus are related. I am definitely NOT a disgruntled customer. I like the place. I'm just a concerned human.
Mari, the server, was very good. The price of the food is reasonable. The food is good with many different food types. If you're dieting, they can and will accommodate you.
French onion soup was just mediocre at best. The Reuben was underfilled and underwhelming. I think I remember they're going before and getting wings and enjoying them but I was not impressed this time
