Went in November on a sunny, cold day. It's a quick walk down the path along the estuary and a beautiful section of beach.

This park is a hidden gem in North Madison. It has a short and well maintained trail to a small unguarded beach. A few picnic tables and a wide open field to set your children loose on overlook Lake Erie. To the right of that is a short walk to the beach. I haven’t seen anyone swim here, but I’ve heard people do.
The beach is mostly made up of a colorful and eye catching assortment of rocks.
My son spends hours throwing them into the lake, but sometimes pauses to join my hunt for beach glass. I love this park and I’m so grateful it’s in Madison!

It is a short hike from parking lot to overlook deck. This area is flat and and easy walk even though not paved. From the over look to the lake is down hill slightly so not handicap friendly. The union of arcola ck and lake Erie is supposed to be good fishing in season

I Arcola Creek Park. It might not be everyone's choice spot, but I like it because it's small, usually not crowded, relatively private, and in addition to enjoying Lake Erie, you can also fish the creek side.

Nice little Park three picnic tables in a lstge grassy area, a bench to sit at. It looks like you could walk on the beach and maybe on a trail from here. Not a lot of parking it's just the end of a road. Nice little quiet place to have a quick lunch, sit and read a book, walk down the beach. No restrooms or other amenities. No Signs regarding pets. No Signs regarding when it closes.

Got to watch two Horned Grebes feasting where the estuary was draining into Lake Erie. Pretty unique spot along the North Coast.

Important history and a creek with a small estuary combine at Arcola. Signs tell of the bog iron that helped build the Western Reserve. Still a great place for you and your kids to have fun on the Lakeshore!

Beautiful park. Life jackets are offered, there's a cute but not too long path that leads from the parking area down to the beach. The sunset from this beach is gorgeous and never disappointing!
