Ardent Communities, Westerville OH

Upon our arrival at Fieldstone Trace, my partner and I were filled with excitement and hope for a new beginning after being shown a demo unit. Although it wasn't as impressive as the previous place we lived in, we were still eager to move in. However, our excitement quickly faded after we signed the lease and received the keys to our townhome. We were disappointed to discover that things were not as we had expected.

Firstly, the floors upstairs were extremely creaky, causing us to worry about disturbing our neighbors with every step we took. Additionally, the sound of a nearby train passing by at night frequently disrupted our sleep. Furthermore, the positioning of the lamps in the master bedroom and dining area was inconvenient, with both fixtures hanging low enough that we bumped our heads on them twice. Lastly, the walls were so thin that we could hear our neighbors' casual conversations and movements as if they were in the same room as us.

The very next day, we asked to back out of the lease, after being told that it wasn't yet finalized. However, the manager, Marcie, went ahead and finalized it anyway, claiming that she was directed to do so by corporate. She informed us that our only options were to stay until the 1-year lease expired or to do a buyout. We requested information about the buyout via email, but while a lot was said about it over the phone, the leasing manager suddenly claimed that she couldn't answer our questions via email because neither she nor her office handled the buyout.

Our experience at FieldStone Trace of Ardent Communities has been our biggest regret this year. We have never encountered such issues with Edward Rose & Son. The demos shown by Edward Rose & Son are exactly like the units you would get, which is something we feel that FieldStone Trace of Ardent Communities failed to deliver.

My fiancé and I live in Brynwood Reserve and absolutely loved the property when we were touring and looking at it. Sierra is absolutely amazing and so was Tina. We had looked at other places and this one was perfect as far as travel to work and family goes. We signed our lease early November and have had nothing but issues since. The maintenance guy is cocky and rude, you address an issue and he makes you feel stupid. Most pet owners do NOT pick up their dog poop and one owner just lets her dog out without a leash and on his own and it poops in the bushes outside of your apartment. Moving in we stepped in multiple piles of dog poop and their solution was to put a doggy station halfway across the complex and not address the situation. Now let’s get to the biggest issue, break-ins. This community in the 1 and a half months i’ve been here has had 3 break-ins. One involving an attempted break-in on my fiancés work truck, and our neighbors car whose ignition was removed and attempted to be stolen. In that process they rummaged through my car leaving it smelling like cigarette smoke and a mess. The company has done NOTHING to make us feel more safe and the residents here are tired of it. Ardent communities is cheap and the staff do not care especially upper management. The only staff member who cares is Sierra and there is nothing she can do besides advocate for us. If you want your stuff broken into all the time, to step in dog poop when you walk outside, and to not have your maintenance issues addressed properly then go ahead and live here but it’s definitely not for me. Ardent/Brynwood do better.

I can't recommend living at any community managed by Ardent. Also, pretty strange how many 5 star reviews you guys have from accounts with that being the only review. Makes you go hmmm.

I lived in an Ardent Communities apartment for 2 years. Its the only apartment complex I have lived at where they always answered the phones, had great staff with great communication, and maintenance was truly 24 hours 7 days a week. 10/10 Would rent from them again!

I’ve lived at various ardent communities through out the years and have never been disappointed. We currently are living at Fieldstone Trace and Marcie is amazing! The staff is very friendly and always willing to help.

Weve been living with ardent for a few years now and they have always been amazing with taking care of their tenants. They just added a basketball court to Fieldstone Trace AMAZING

Fieldstone has been a great place for me to live these past few months. Bet west to work with. The facilities are modern and clean. Maintenance is extremely quick to handle problems. And the office staff is superb! I would recommend it to anyone.

I love it has the best things for a family basketball courts and all field stone grace is the best

This is the second apartment complex managed by Ardent communities I've been living so far and everything is great. Managers are always friendly and amenities are clean all the time.

Ardent Communities at Fieldstone trace is a great place for families & pet owners. Neighbors & management are kind & helpful. The townhomes have big windows that bring in lots of natural light. You have Flint Station just down the road, too.

Ardent Communities is great! They have the best communities to live in anywhere around Columbus and their staff is top notch. Mercy is very helpful and maintenance staff is friendly.

Fieldstone Trace, I’ve been living here for 7 months now I love the community very safe environment and beautiful complex they also have really wonderful staff members I would totally recommend people to fill out a application check out the community and live here.

I love ardent they’ve always been very informational. I’ve been at Fieldstone Trace for about 6 months and so far so great.

I am staying in Fieldstone trace since April 2023. It is very clean and well maintained community. We are getting good support from the field office. Maintenance request has done on time. I like this community.

Since I've been living at Fieldstone Trace. I have been very pleased with the apartments and the community. I also love the staff members, they are a joy to work with.

Maintenance is SUPER helpful, it's very beautiful here, and I haven't had any issues since I came here a couple months ago. Fieldstone Trace is the best! Tsym:)
