Ashtabula County Animal Protective League reviews
7We got out Maggie there this last Saturday. Her name was Cookie. Suspect Pit terrier mix. She has found her forever home. Thank you our house is happy again.
Beware of some reviews. I've been to this shelter. My dog got away from me, ended up at the shelter, thankfully safe, and returned to me in less then a day. I adopted a dog, zero problems. Today I called at noon and phone answered. I'm truly not understanding some of the complaints about this shelter. ️
Attempted to call and contact this animal shelter several times with no return response regarding adopting a cat for my son.
After speaking with other people about this location and their reports of the lack of care for the animals rudeness of staff and apparently severe lack of cleanliness of this shelter I'm glad we didn't go here.
Thankfully the Cleveland APL was a wonderful, clean facility with caring knowledgeable staff and well worth the drive.
Everyone is so helpful and friendly and cares alot about those animals
Was very sad two dogs I wanted stated available and they weren't. I hope they have happy lives and get as spoiled as I spoil my Sadie.
I found a stray cat in the middle of the road that was severely injured and hurt. I took her to the Ashtabula APL, and although they weren't able to save her they were gracious and accepted her and showed her love right up until the end. I can't say enough about them and the work they do for the county.
They are so supportive and nice. They take good care of the animals and know their habits very well. They sent me home with all the supplies I would need for a.few days. My Daisy is such a good girl and is adjusting well and even is learning to love my cockatiel. What a.joy-filled experience I had there. I tell everyone about this shelter A friend is looking for a dog, I check the site all the time looking for a puppy for him, I'll gladly make the trip
Thanks, Sandy Karavolos.
