18At first was hesitant to go here due to the bad reviews but I needed help with my broken tooth so I decided to give them a chance. From the start they were welcoming and helpful! I have always had a fear of dentists and my anxiety was very high going in. Natalie was amazing! She was kind, gentle, and caring! She helped soothe my anxiety and held my hand the entire time while my tooth was being extracted! Dr Lu did a wonderful job even though the extraction was more difficult than expected. She listened to my concerns and talked me through the entire procedure! And Riley was so understanding about my lack of dental history. Not once did I feel I was being judged! Every staff member I interacted with went above and beyond for me and I would highly recommend this office!
Read the reviews, this place is absolutely all about the money. Saw the doctor for less then 3 minutes. They wanted almost 20 grand!
Very rude call center and office are not on the same page. And they like to embarrass the people coming
Riley, the dental hygienist in training, is excellent. She gave me my first cleaning in almost five years — a cleaning that was completely painless, and even pretty fast! She was also super friendly and personable, which goes a long way as well. I hope she’ll be my hygienist at my next visit, too!
This place does not care about the patient or the pain that they are in. They are only concerned about the money. We have excellent insurance and showed up with a full set of X-rays that were taken at our dentist. Unfortunately, our dentist will not do an extraction so we came here to Aspen. We sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes and then was placed in a room for an additional 20 minutes. We never seen the doctor but we were told that our insurance will not cover another set of X-rays and they wouldn’t accept the X-rays that we had. They asked for $280 for them to take another set and because we said we didn’t understand why they wouldn’t accept them they said you can leave this room and go wait back in the waiting room and the dentist will try and come out and answer your questions when they have a chance. Absolutely no concern for the pain that my daughter was in. They were only concerned about the money. I should have looked closer at the reviews because it seems to be the way they do business. We have contacted another dentist and they said they will most definitely accept our X-rays.
I just wanted to share my experience I had when being interviewed for Aspen dental.
I was applying for the middle town location but after waiting several days I was contacted by the regional manager (CHELSEA KRUGER) to come in for a interview 1 hour away from where I live (2 hours there and back) I thought the interview went very well. After a week I decided to email Chelsea for feed back on my interview. After several attempts to get ahold of her I decided they must have decided on someone else which is fine. I do not think a manager of a chain business you should completely ignore someone that drove 2 hours for a interview it's not only wrong but very unprofessional for the company. With that being said I hope this helps others trying to work at this company. As for Chelsea Kruger I suggest taking a management class.
This place is a joke, I went in 6-14 for terrible tooth ache done some paper work said i had to come back next day made appointment for 7: 30 in the morning they did xrays met with the doc she sent me to the office manger telling me i need to schedule cleaning and maintenance that is not what i am here for i need a tooth pulled he said well we need to schedule that. I thought that is what i was already there for so I went ahead made appointment for the next morning at 7: 30 then i ask about some meds to help with pain the office manager the doc would call me in some antibiotics and ibuprofen that was at 9: 30 i called at 11: 30 still no meds he she would when she was done with a procedure they finally called the in at 2: 45 that staff was nice but the doc and this place is a joke go elsewhere.
So I've never been a patient here, I am being charged 809.00 for work. When I called no one can give me a straight answer. Corporate is just their number rerouted back to the the Middletown OH location. Had to report to all 3 credit bureaus that a fraudulent charge may come through. No one there is helpful in this matter. When trying to call back their phones don't work. Staff is clueless as well. Do NOT go here, they don't know their policies, what insurances they accept, and the guy who does sometimes answer is rude.
Pd for dentures last Nov.in full. I do realize this was very stupid of me to do. I have gotten 3 sets thru Aspen with no problems and received them as promised so was not expecting this time to be different. But Aspen Dental in Middletown, Ohio is the most unorganized group I have ever experienced. My dentures still aren't ready and yet they have a new excuse every time I talk to them
They have had me come in and after 1/2 hr they say we made a mistake. I have told them that I don't live close but seems to go in ear then out the other and they have taken so many impressions I'm just at a lost for words. Take your time and business elsewhere and avoid the headache. Also not the friendliest bunch that work there.
My son went in for an emergency visit, but with an appointment. His tooth is falling apart and bleeding. After waiting 45 minutes, with an appointment, he was taken back for x rays and checkup. Once they realized that he didn't have dental insurance, they sent him to the waiting room to wait for a financing consult, which never happened! They didn't do anything, at all, to help him! Also, while he was waiting to be seen, 3 other patients walked in, and left very upset! This office needs to be investigated!
Definitely shouldve looked at the reviews before booking an appointment here. Dont go here. They will just upcharge/upsell you on anything they can. I arrived 10 minutes early to do new patient paperwork and ended up waiting an hour because of them being short staffed. I'm fine with waiting and can understand. What I dont understand is having to wait for a manager to talk about a "recovery treatment plan". I went in for a chipped tooth and was told I had multiple cavities, one in my front tooth. Which Im pretty sure I wouldve noticed by now. If I were given proof of said cavities or any indication or walkthrough of what was being done on my mouth, I mightve been a bit more understanding. Instead I was told that I had to do extensive cleaning and get set up on some gingivitis treatment. I said I came in to just get the chipped tooth out, an extraction, but the dentist said that I should just get a filling even though there would be risk that I would just need a root canal anyway. I just shook it off because I didn't feel heard and was told to wait for the manager, whom which I was going to explain I didnt want all that extra stuff. Instead I waited another 25 minutes for nobody to show up, so I went to the front desk to see if I had to pay anything and they said it was covered. I walked out and wont be returning.
I had an office visit. They were supposed to refer me the miamisburg office. That was on May 15. I was told I would be contacted May 16. They never called. On May 22 I went back to the Middletown office and asked why they didn't contact me. They had no answer. I was told I would get a call today for an appointment. That did not happen. I should have read these reviews before dealing with Aspen. Their staff clearly has no interest in helping patients.
Brought my mom here! First off they work with me to get her scheduled same day. Then the staff was perfect! Nice, sweet and amazing people! If you need anything come here!
Liers.they tell when i set up the appointment they except my insuance did not call me or nothing just cancled the appt then i call that morning they tell me they cant tell me if they accept or not till you get there. The lady was disrespectful at the office raciest and rude said stating thats how it works. Probly so they can charge you to show up.go elseware Delta Dental excepts all plans and dont book appointments under false pretences just so they can charge you. They want miney out of pocket regardless of insuance. I have also reported this office for Insuance fraud.

This place is so backwards! After my first visit, I scheduled a appointment for 8/15 was called the next day and told it was unavailable. I booked another appointment for 8/23 and was just informed that appointment was now unavailable! I don't understand why they keep canceling my appointments. They need to get organized, because this is unacceptable.
HORRIBLE experience! I had an appointment for a severe toothache, drove an hour to get to the location and met with 3-4 different people. They took x-rays, mwt with the hygienist, and then I waited for the dentist to arrive. Explained I have a severe toothache. Can't eat or drink.the dentist told me I needed a filling and/or rootcanal; which I agreed was fine.but this couldn't be done for almost a week and when I asked for pain meds for my tooth, I was told to take ibuprofen that my pain isn't that bad.
Complete waste of time!
The receptionist scheduled me for 6: 00 p.m. I showed up on appointment day at 6: 00 p.m. Only to later find out they close at 5: 00 p.m. When I spoke with the lady answering the phone she had the audacity to ask if I was even at their office in Middletown. How very rude! Very unprofessional! And bad business!
