Got there it was a wait due to short staff other than that service was professional. When they say it’s a no judgement zone they stick to that word no doubt. Even the receptionist was professional and had a sense of office lingo which made it feel like a actual dentist office.

More of a business than a dentist. Pricing structure is vague and deceptive. "$180 for a basic cleaning", but wouldn't explain exactly what that included. On their website & per phone person, it varies for "half mouth, full mouth, if you are diagnosed with gingivitis, periodontal disease, etc.etc. " so maybe the $180 only includes "half mouth", but she wouldn't say, so I cancelled my appointment.

If I could give Aspen Dental zero or negative stars, I would. I had the most frustrating, and time-wasting experience here, not to mention the worst dental care I've ever received. I first came in to have an exam and cleaning, which for some reason had to happen in two different appointments. I've never heard of a practice having you come in just to look at your teeth (for all of 5 minutes), then come back again for a cleaning. That's just the beginning. The exam revealed that one of my teeth needed a crown, so I made an appointment to come back (again, why couldn't they have just done it the same day I was already there?) to have my tooth prepped and receive a temporary crown. What happened next was TWO failed attempts to make and secure an adequate permanent crown, resulting in me having to come back for SIX more appointments before they finally gave me a permanent crown on the THIRD TRY. Let me also mention that this location was not the closest to me, but one of the few places I found that accepted my dental insurance. Had they not roped me into a payment plan after my first appointment, I would have NEVER continued to keep coming back after the clearly amateur service that was being provided. Having finally gotten a permanent crown as of today (my first appointment was over THREE MONTHS AGO), I still am not even confident that I have a satisfactory crown that will hold up over time, or not cause future problems. During this whole ordeal, I would often wait for the doctor to see me for almost an hour (while sitting in an examination room) on several occasions. Also, I saw three different doctors throughout this experience, so I never felt confident that they understood this ongoing situation I was being put through. Someone in my immediate family has also gone to this location, and told me of having a similar experience. I am frankly shocked at how poor of service I received, especially considering I'm being charged a high market price for my crown. I would warn ANY person considering going to Aspen Dental to stay away and find a competent, small practice that isn't a chain. Aspen Dental is the Great Clips of dentistry.

UPDATE July 2023: My new dentist said my crown from Aspen was done so poorly that it needs to be replaced. I've had it for only one year. My new dentist said that the crown I received from Aspen should have never been placed in the first place. Just goes to show that you cannot rely on Aspen for long-lasting dentistry work.

I really wish I could give zero stars!
I had an emergency appointment scheduled for yesterday and was very reluctant to go because of the horrible reviews. However because of the pain I went and I do NOT recommend this place. I went hoping I’d have a different experience than the rest and I see now why people have said what they said-VERY unprofessional and lack of communication! I spoke with the office on Tuesday and an appointment was scheduled for the next day, I told the person the insurance I had and they said to bring my card and ID. Went to my appointment, the receptionist was rude from the jump! Told me they don’t take my insurance and was ignorant, rude and short with her response. My frustration wasn’t because of the insurance issue-it was doubled with her ignorant responses. YES I should have been told they don’t take my insurance when they asked what kind I had the day before! I wasted valuable time and it was too late to go anywhere else so I’m here suffering again praying I can get in somewhere else tomorrow. It became a mess when she was rude, I had just worked all night and is in pain! PLEASE save yourself some valuable time and go elsewhere-NOT RECOMMENDED! Poor/ incorrect communication and VERY unprofessional.

Boyfriend had an emergency appointment scheduled at 215 today. We get there to the building closed and locked. No one answering phones. Finally someone comes to the door saying they called and Cancelled his appointment. We never got a phone call.

The dentist did a horrible job. My dentures will not stay in place. Polygrip does not even work. I am seriously thinking of sueing because the dentist riped off myself and my insurance company for
$9,000 and I can't wear my dentures and partial. He did not even give me pain medicine after extracting 11 upper teeth at one time. I'm truly disappointed and so is my attorney. I also still have bones coming through my gums.

I was recently seen by Aspen Dental, in Springdale and I was given poor, poor service with a smile and they could not find a diagnosis after all the X-Rays taken. I had to beg to be seen soon because they didn't have the staff to cover. In February I initially came to get a crown; well I got my crown and ended up back in the office a week later with an infection; extreme pain and swelling. I gave them 4 months and 4 visits before I lost all faith, they did not see anything on several X Rays, I had to beg to get pain meds because they did not see anything, it was not a good experience, I came back into the office for more meds after they didn't work. I went back to my original dentist Dr. Lipps in Wyoming but he has since retired and it's now called Wyoming Smiles Center they were sorry to hear about my plight, they took more X-Rays. I'm think my insurance company might wonder what is going on with all these X-Rays, but it showed a fracture over the crown #14 and they found cement was left in my mouth at three different places you could see on the X-Ray and I needed a Root Canal the crown was so painful and angry red and swollen. I was so happy to have them see what my problems were. Aspen Dental said they didn't see anything.all this was very evident on the X-Rays, so please tell me how this happened? It is June and I'm still in pain & swollen. I am so glad to be at a reputable establishment where you are treated with good customer service Wyoming Smiles Center from kind and concerned people and they get it right the first time, all services are expense and I should not have to pay for it twice and I will call corporate management about this treatment or the lack of immediately. Please don't go to Aspen Dental, but do go to Wyoming Smiles Center in Wyoming on Worthening Ave don't let this happen to you or your family.

I deal with some form of pain every time I go here. Think long and hard before you decide to go here. They are very rough on my mouth and I have had two failed root canal procedures in which instruments were left in the canal of my tooth. Both of them took a very long time to attempt but were incomplete. I was advised to have the tooth pulled because they were not comfortable with the long term prognosis of the tooth. I was then told that I would pay a lesser amount of money for a dental Implant and that no further expenses would be required for the dental implant. I returned today for part 3 of my procedure and was asked to pay another $446.20. Here is the financial pain part of the program. I spoke with a manager who spoke to her manager because I was assured by multiple people that my dental implant would not incur any additional charges. I am still required to pay the extra amount. To top off the experience, the wrong crown for my dental implant was ordered and so I will have to return at a later date to do part 3 again. Please be careful if you decide to go here for any of your dental work and get everything they tell you documented in their records so that you are more likely to have their promises kept.
What they could do differently is document the promises patents are given so that we don't feel like we need to let the world know that we have to do it for them. They should reconsider the promises I have been given and honor them. I can look past annoying inconveniences but not failed promises.

Update (11/3) : I was able to give a call to the Patient Satisfaction Team and spoke with Heather. She informs me that a case has been created for me and that I should hear back on either Monday or Tuesday so I am hopeful that something will be done.

Update (12/19) : I did not get a follow-up call from Heather or anyone else from her team. I called back today after giving more then sufficient follow-up time. She was telling me that they would not honor any verbal sales promises because they need written documentation for the promise. I ask her if she could reach out to the doctor who gave me that promise and she would try but had no way of knowing if she would be able to make contact. It was not until she dug deep into her records did she find a statement made by the dentist that made me that promise a note that documented the promise I received. She is reopening my case and is sending it to the local office manager. If you ever do business with this company, please, please, please get a copy of everything in writing! She is mailing me a copy of all of my records which includes the note on 10/28 that illustrates my sales promise.

Update (2/22) : I was scheduled to have my dental implant procedure finished today but when I went in, they had me waiting in the waiting room, then waiting in the procedure room, but ultimately, they had the wrong parts and could not complete the procedure. I guess I will wait another month!

Final Update (3/29/2023) :
I was finally able to get my dental implant finished with relative ease. They did honor the credits provided to me by the Patient Satisfaction Team and completed the procedure with the correct parts. I just wish they would read their own office notes because apparently, the note indicating the sales promise was not reflected in the notes they were reading before.

I visited this Springdale location 2 weeks ago as a new patient, looking for a maintenance/clean. Arrive 15 minutes early, fill out my forms and waited past my appointment time, maybe by 20 minutes (there were no-one in the lobby). Got my X-ray exams, and seen the hygienist. After the exams I met with the finance lady, and she told me it would cost me 2k, after my insurance to get my teeth clean and deal with a small cavity. She said the majority of the cost is related to some oral cleaning liquid that costed $100 each. Total cost without insurance was around 3.6k. She wanted $972.5 deposit to schedule me for my cleaning, then the other half after it's done. Does this seem fair price? I have delta Dental and maintenance is 100% covered.
Called Service Team 6/21/23 9: 13am, and they were not available.

I've now had my wisdom teeth removed, and a root canal within the last 2 months. The ladies in the office are so nice! The Dental Assistant, I wish I could remember her name, was amazing! She held my hand and calmed me down! And the oral surgeon, he is the best I have ever had! Before this office, I was TERRIFIED of going to the dentist. So thank you

My journey with Aspen dental started July 2022 I made an appointment through the call center in my appointment was scheduled for the end of November 2022. I show up to my appointment 15 minutes early for the front desk associate to tell me she has no record of me having an appointment. But she can put me on a cancel list. Lucky me someone cancel that day and I was able to get in for my x-rays and cleaning. The woman that did the x-rays was very nice and polite. However, that day I did not get my teeth cleaning done like I was supposed to but they said they had to reschedule me. I said OK not an issue I get to the desk going over the prices of everything in the woman that helped me must’ve had a bad day. The attitude coming off of her was so bad her coworkers didn’t want to sit next to her. They give me a date of April 2023 for teeth cleaning. Fast forward to the week of my dentist appointment. I get a email saying that they have to reschedule me because they don’t have dental hygienist for that Friday. I asked what’s the next availability and they said July 2023 I explained that that was way too long for nothing to be my fault and the lady on the phone said there was nothing they could do the next week I found a new dentist and they could get me in May 2023. All they needed was my new dental records. I went to Aspen dental and signed the paperwork to have the dental records sent. However, their system was magically down and had been down for the past five days I said OK, my appointment isn’t for another week and she said it’s possible it’ll be up by then a week later before my dentist appointment I contacted Aspen dental on Colerain to have my dental records sent, and they explained to me that their system is still down. This is going on 14 days of the system being down. If you are not in dire need of a dentist, please find somewhere else this place has been nothing but a giant waste of time! This is the worst dentist and worst customer service minus the one woman that did the x-rays I’ve ever seen. I was warned before going to Aspen dental that I would waste my time. And here I am almost a year later with no work done not even a teeth cleaning. You are warned!

I had a broken molar removed and some cavities filled. Everyone was very pleasant and friendly and I was very happy with the dental work I received. But for over six months now, I've been trying to get in for my regular checkup and cleaning. Three times in a row I've made an appointment, then a few days before it gotten an email saying it needed to be rescheduled.

Worst place ever I made an appointment last month for my husband and the lady at front desk said it was not verbally confirmed when I never received a call from them. We made another appointment she said the earliest was at 7: 45 am and said ok because we both work and we came to the office and it’s closed they open until 9am like why would you make an appointment at the time knowing you won’t be open. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL! WASTE OF TIME!

I am so disappointed with Aspen Dental. My grandson had had an appointment set up for several days with an EXTREAMLY painful wisdom tooth and were counting down the hours that we could get him treatment. Even this morning Aspen texted him and reminded him of his afternoon appointment. We get to the office and he is told that they CAN NOT SEE HIM because they are short staffed. "Make another appointment". We told them he was in extreme pain and they offer NO HELP! We tried 24/7 Emergency clinics AND THEY ARE ALL CLOSED! What do we do now? !? !? What an awful way to treat people.

When in today for a toothache and ended up being nothing and was able to get my teeth clean on the same day. All before my knee replacement surgery. I was worried that something was going on and the Dr.said I was good to go and it was nothing to worry about. What a relief.
