Dr. Ismail and his team are very professional, and caring. Excellent dental work, affordable pricing. I appreciate them.

Wait was much too long. Appointment was at 11: 00. Finally took me in at 11: 45. I don't mine a 10 or 15 minute wait but 45 minutes is too long.

The staff are nice, they are professional, they took care of my needs. I already know the course of my mouth. Prognosis is not good. Today was the first time I felt that they didn't push extra treatment for extra money. Maybe because they finally realized that I am not dumping money into a losing situation.
I have worked in healthcare for 30 years in a different way. It breaks my heart to know that health is for profit. My experience with this company is no different, but today I spoke with individuals that actually understood where I was as an individual.
Always educate yourself thoroughly. Be a good consumer, but remember that you are in charge of you.
As far as the treatment, they are great. Don't always buy the plan before you look long term and discuss your personal goals

I had a tooth break and couldn't find a place to get in. I called and got in the same day. They were all so nice. Got in, xrays, and the tooth pulled. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely loved everyone I came across! The were amazing at every step and had great patience with me even though I was sleep deprived and in pain. I continuously said what and had them explain everything multiple times lol Pricing was fair and upfront which is hard to find at dentist offices. Overall highly recommend even have my wife changing over.

I have been on a long journey since I was a child with bad teeth. I've never felt so comfortable at a dentist office in my 40 years! This place made me feel comfortable and made sure to ask me how I felt about everything! Ask what I wanted. They are making sure I am comfortable in everything we have to do. Made me feel safe! I have had really bad experiences in the past! So I give them 5 stars for that! My journey is just starting here and can't wait till the end! Till I can smile and not be ashamed and want to hide it!

I wanted pricing on on getting 5 teeth pulled and a healing plate for my bottoms. After my insurance my out of pocket is almost $2,000.00. That is ridiculous I thought what I was charged by another dentist in Defiance was ridiculous but maybe not.

They got me in right after i called for emerg.got right to the point, took out a troublesome tooth way in the back.real pros thank you thank you thank you!

P.s. Probably could use more than 4 pain killers

Prompt and courteous all Staff members. Very pleased with the Dentist! He was very informative and had a pleasant demeanor. Great experience!

Horrible waste of 2hrs jammed poked my son in his broken tooth didn't have 288$ to pull it they didn't give him anything for the pain till he could scrap up.the funds since they wouldn't finace him what kinda place jams pokes sore tooth then sends u packing without any meds antibiotics ect

VERY UNETHICAL!

My new patient exam was about two and a half hours long. It was recommended that I have a deep cleaning and another procedure, which was over $1,000 out of pocket, after insurance. I advised I just wanted the cleaning and the lady said she would not authorize the cleaning unless I did the procedure, also. At that point, the hygienist told the lady to delete the procedure.

I was then told my cleaning, out of pocket, would be over $400. I have had this same insurance and I have never had to pay for my cleanings (same type), let alone $400 out of pocket. I was always able to get the cleanings done in one appointment. Aspen said they would have to break it down into two appointments at over $200 each.

When I tried to tell the office manager what happened, she said she didn’t hear the conversation and could not explain the pricing difference. When I mentioned pulling my records from my previous dentist, she did not respond.

Please be aware. Aspen Dental in Defiance, OH will try to gouge you for everything, after keeping you in their office for over two and a half hours. I am in the process of filing a report to the Ohio Dental Board.
