As an expert skier, I expect my equipment to perform at its best every time. I was hesitant but I purchased the phantom treatment for 1 pair of skis. After the treatment, I took those skis to Snow Trails when they were making snow. This was a great test since Snowmaking produces a wet and sticky ride against the already fast snowpack. Not once did my skis stick or slow me down through the changes in snow conditions. With my powder skis treated, I took them west and rode fresh powder after a massive storm. I felt like my skis were freshly waxed on every "free refill".

Since my first phantom treatment, I now have all 3 pairs of skis treated along with my wife's pair. I've also promoted this to my friends, who trust my opinion in snow sports, and they love it as well. Whether it's your race skis, park skis or powder skis the phantom treatment gives you the same ride every time. Going forward I will ALWAYS treat my skis with the phantom treatment.

I bought my first pair of skis/boots here several years back. The owner was the one who sized me and selected my gear. The gear has given me problems for years. Main issue being the boots were too tight.

This year I upgraded my gear at a different ski shop. Much to my surprise they informed me the boots I purchased at Aspen Ski were a 2 sizes too small. And the skis were the wrong design for me. (The choice in skis was likely me own doing) The worker informed me they have heard many stories similar to mine about Aspen Ski.

UPDATE:
I recently visited to follow up on the boot fit guarantee and they were able to get me into a new boot. I thought the exchange was very fair and I appreciate their willingness to work with my situation.

I went to Aspen to buy ski boots. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They listened to my needs and brought several different boots at different price points for me to try. Prices are reasonable and the store has an amazing price match policy. The store was very busy, so plan accordingly.

I'm new to Columbus, decided to visit Aspen as the my local Ski shop had a lovely conversation with a young man named Noah who gave some great local snowboarding tips, advice on which places are reachable nearby and then showed me around the store. Made me feel very welcome, Noah is an asset to Aspen Ski & Board.

I purchased a new Ride warpig from Aspen Ski and Board. I called and verified the board was in stock and the guy on the phone pulled the board from the floor right then and there and gave me time to finish the purchase online. The board was packed in a non-branded ski box, as to avoid pirates from taking it from my doorstep. Can't forget to mention it was the best price I found anywhere online or in store. And arrived from Columbus Ohio to AZ fast and in MINT condition. Super stoked!

Great selection. Older staff appeared to be knowledgeable. Younger staff tried to upsell on previous visit. Recent 'Sale' was a bit of a joke (hence the three stars), since prices had minimal markdowns especially when compared to prior sales, which I have enjoyed. Amazon is very competitive to their pricing.

10/7/2022 Update: C, your obviously less than acceptable service today was hard to ignore. You have lost this customer for good.

I needed a box to ship my son's snowboard to him in Japan. They were closed getting ready for the upcoming season and opened their doors to me so I could purchase a box anyway! I am so grateful for their help! Thank you Aspen Ski and Board!

The staff is excellent. YES they are always busy but good knowledgable staff is worth the wait. Prices are competitive and you can try stuff on in store. Ask questions they will answer it the always believe in costumer 1st.

Wish i could give a better rating than 5/5.i dont rate buisness' often but when i do they deserve it.they went out of their way to help me organise shipping to australia and it arrived 2 days earlier than expected! Couldn't be happier, excellent prices too.

These guys are awesome. They are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Great customer service, I’ve been to a lot of board shops and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

They are probably great to shop at in person BUT. This review is solely for the online aspect of Aspen Ski and Board. Ultimately it is my fault for not seeking out the product exchange policy for their online shopping. I order a pair of snowboard boots and they ended up a 1/2 size too small and so I wanted to up size. They don't offer free exchange or return shipping so in stead of ordering a half size larger I had to just go without any boots because I didn't want to take the chance of the next size still being too small so I had to pay $64 to snail mail back the originals all for no boots. Just wasted $64 so very upset with them. I chose the cheapest available shipping for 8lbs which means its also the slowest which means I'll have to wait extra long for the refund too. If you order from them online, make sure you positively know the size you need for the product or suffer like me.

Ordered online on a Sunday and the bindings were mounted to the skis and shipped Monday afternoon. Bindings were mounted perfectly to the BSL specified on the ticket and had no problems with the ASTM check at my local shop. Skied them that following Sunday and they were tuned great out of the (shipping) box.

Went there to buy my first pair of skis and boots; I was blown away with the level of customer service by Scott the manager. He precisely measured my foot; found a perfect pair of boots for me; made me custom inserts for my flat feet; and then heated the boots to mold perfectly to my feet; he also got me a great value on my skis and patiently took care of us while my 3 year old was wreaking havoc in the store lol. Zero pressure and zero upsell. Scott was so knowledgeable about the forces and problems that occur to feet with poor-fitting boots. I extremely recommend anyone buying a pair of ski boots to come to get them here. I can’t imagine a better experience than I had in getting my first pair.

I've skied for almost 40 years, lived out west and this place is one of the top ski and board shops I've ever been too. We've bought multiple skis, bindings, apparel, and a number of other accessories there. Great prices, excellent service and one of the best selections of gear I've seen anywhere in one place. Chris, Scott, the owners and staff are awesome. This place is my go-to. Ironic that one of the best ski and board shops anywhere is in Columbus, OH.
