I worked here for 4+ years. I really liked my job in customer service, talked to interesting people all over the country. Had a couple of great managers but after that got 2 jerks for managers. They made life work so unpleasant that I eventually quit. The job is only as good as the person managing you.

Please do not use Assurant for insurance. I emailed them requesting they cancel my renters policy since I had moved and didn’t require anymore. I received an email requesting I send another email to their cancelation department. According to them, they would reply within 3 days. They never replied and never canceled my policy. They continued to Bill me. I had to report to the FTC, BBB.

Never received an email or return label to return my trade in device didn't receive credit and was told to go to Gazelle. Lengthy process that wasn't worth it.

Fast service that I had to use at least three times. Great customer service and replacement phone arrived the next day after filling a claim. 5 Stars

I lost my phone on September 24th 2019 I call Assurant to file my claim, instead of helping me file a claim and getting through the process Assurant Stonewall my claim and would not send out my replacement device until next Tuesday witch is a week later. Assurant stating that they need to do a review on my account when I asked them why they would not tell me. I end up getting another phone in the process while waiting for the replacement phone from Assurant. I would not recommend Assurant to any of my friend or family. I thought an insurance company supposed to help there customer file for a claim when they need it, not to harass them and give out false information to their customer when their customer is paying the company every month for a premium price.

This is false advertising. I purchased a firepit, and a warranty. The units stopped functioning. I put a claim in. Assurant issued me a credit the $20 that I originly paid for the warranty, This is NOT what a warranty is. The company should fix, replace, or issue a credit. Giving me $20 to credit me for the cost of the warranty makes no sense what so ever. Extremely dissatisfied.

I utterly destroyed my phone (an LG K20 plus), its refurbishable reincarnate life it was denied. Luckily I had my phone insured through Assurant, who had a replacement in hand within a couple days. Customer service employees were helpful and courteous. No hassles whatsoever. Thanks

The worse mobile insurance. Horrible customer service. Deny claims with no explanation. Advise to send a letter to corporate for further information. Horrible horrible horrible company. Thief’s.

My experience with Assurant was great. My phone claim was approved fast and I got my new phone 3 days later. I'm glad Assurant is on our side!

After a house fire the last thing you want to deal with is automated menus that never let you speak to a person. If you do get lucky enough to speak to someone you can get they will need to transfer your call and you'll get disconnected. 2 weeks post fire and still haven't spoken to an underwriter.

My phone was stolen and I was given a phone number to call. I didn’t speak to anyone it was all computerized which worked great for me. I couldn’t afford the deductible at the time but was told to call back and place my order when ready which I did and all of my information was still there for processing.

The claims process with this company was absolutely terrible! My product arrived at the mail office without a commercial invoice contacted them And they didn't understand why fedex was requesting a commercial invoice she put me on hold to call fedex and I got hung up on while on hold. Called them back and had to go through the entire process again! She informed me that she didn't know why they were asking for a commercial invoice and told me that I would need to call fedex and cancel the shipment. Me being smart I thought why would I need to call them to cancel a shipment that I am not sending I told her to hold on so that I could call them on my other line and fedex informed me that they would need to cancel the shipment! Go FIGURE. Had I hung up I would be going through that process yet again. I conferences the call and the rep didn't even have an account number to give fedex to cancel the shipment. This was the worst customer service I have ever received. I was supposed to receive my replacement device two days ago. I now have to delay my vacation because I still do not have a phone. I set this up ahead of time to be done and they could not deliver it is absolutely ridiculous would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND!
