Athletico Physical Therapy - Columbus (Hilliard)

The entire staff here is top of the line. They helped me with pre-surgery strengthening to make the recovery that much better. Then post surgery, Jimmy had me back to normal in no time. He even helped me beat Rocco (another great PT there) to completing a 5K run post surgery. Couldn’t think of any better Physical Therapists. As soon as you walk in Sam greets you with a friendly welcome, and you can’t miss out on the joke of the day. Thanks to Jess the PT from the Athletico in Sunbury for the recommendation.

The fantastic team here made my recovery from knee surgery possible. I was able to make so much progress to the point where I can walk and run again without pain, something which I wasn't sure would be possible. Thank you so much Rocco, Jimmy and Sam for making it not just possible but fun as well. Truly a excellent team of people and a nice clean facility with great equipment to go with it.

Amazing experience! Our daughter had ACL surgery last week, we started at another PT clinic. The treatment plan seemed conservative and only scheduled her once a week. Athletico got our daughter in right away! My brother who is an out of state PT, recommended us to come here. We are only on our second treatment and she is already bending her knee! The staff is motivational & outstanding at educating us on the process.

Everybody was so nice and pleasurable to work with. You're greeted at the door every single time. I had a problem with shin splints for 2 years, and tried everything and after a quick evaluation James Mako told me it's posterior tibialis tendonosis and after only 4 sessions and recommendations for orthotics I felt like I never had an injury to begin with.

The staff was very professional yet personable. They are very flexible with your schedule and mindful of your pain tolerance. Wonderful and helpful staff. My pain was relieved shortly after following the exercises required of me. Very recommendable.

Wonderful experience. I had vertigo, where my eyes would seem to spin, making me instantly sick to the stomach. In one visit to the Physical Therapist - James Mako, at Athletico's Hilliard office who is certified in treating vertico it was resolved not to return again. Great facility with even better staff. James Earl Mako III leads the pack there and he is a very knowledgeable PT with great advice on every stage of recovery. He welcomes questions after you have been discharged if you happen to have a setback as well.
The rising star of the show is for sure their rehab aid, Logan. He may be an undergrad student but he shows serious potential to succeed as a PT. His only weakness is assisting with the leg injuries as he himself hardly lifts legs so he doesn't know as many workouts without help from the other staff there. He will get there though!

Jimmy Mako did a fantastic job. He made it clear to me what I needed to do at home to facilitate treatment of my condition. He also explained the in-office physical treatment before it was done and the reason it was needed. The treatment wored and the timeline was as predicted before the treatment occurred. Athletico Hilliard is highly recommended.

If you need Physical Therapy you need ATHLETICO in Hilliard. I had total knee replacement surgery this summer and was experiencing pain, swelling and limited mobility (range of motion). Jimmy, my Physical Therapist at Athletico, created a gym plan and an at home workout plan to achieve and surpass my desired goals. After working with Jimmy and the TEAM at Athletico, I can now do all the work and hobbies I did before surgery even better. I’m 100% confident in the strength and condition of my new knee, and I’m pain free for the first time in over a decade. Jimmy and Rocco pushed me to surpass my goals using the latest technology, equipment, innovation and training techniques while having some laughs along the way. Simply put the professionals at Athletico can do it all, and as a Military Member I was inspired by their One Team, One Fight collaborative working environment and philosophy.
