Trusting the process is difficult when your child is in pain and you know traditional medicine can offer a quick fix with antibiotics. Through the informational videos Dr. Benne has been providing, I knew in my gut getting antibiotics for my daughter’s ear pain was not the path we should go. Dr. Benne listened, spent time specifically adjusting areas to support drainage, and after adding a boost appointment this week, she woke up with ZERO pain. What a relief on so many levels!

We came to Atone through the “calm the storm” seminar. My daughter is 14 and has struggled with self worth, anxiety, social interactions and ADD. I was looking for an intervention for her that did not include medication, only because I was hoping to find the root cause of her troubles as opposed to only treating her symptoms.

She started treatment at the end of June, coming out of her last middle school year. Middle school was brutal for her. My brilliant daughter who yearns to learn has been plagued by feeling worthless, unimportant and invisible. However, through the summer we have seen real progress. I have seen the joy return. Not always, and not consistently yet but it’s in there and in some moments she truly let’s go.

Getting ready for high school this summer has been a worry. Is she going to show up with the light in her eyes or masked and looking to the ground? I’m happy to report she had the light at her orientation and even signed up for drama club! This is BIG NEWS for her to truly put herself in a vulnerable position.

I am watching her become “unstuck” and without the support and kindness of Dr. Benne and his team I’m not sure it would’ve been possible. We are cautiously optimistic that this treatment will truly be life changing for her and getting her nervous system flowing properly will be the key to opening the door to the future she dreams of. As I’m watching things unfold I feel truly grateful and would recommend this treatment to any person who is struggling with mental health.

We love Atone Chiropractic! Our daughter has received outstanding care to help her improve in several areas. Our one year old is now also under care with them and he is doing great! The staff is all so helpful and very sweet! We hope to eventually have our whole family under their care!

The front desk is very friendly and educated. I guess I was hoping for an adjustment or some form of treatment today, but I gut that comes with the second session.

We decided to take our 8 month old to see Dr. Benne after a little research and a leap of faith based on my mama intuition. Our little one was nowhere near crawling and was consistently struggling with tummy time - he would immediately roll to his back when you put him on his belly and he would never roll from back to belly. I was also noticing that he would lift his shoulders slightly whenever he looked up or to the side while sitting upright.

After an initial consultation, agreeing on a plan, and THE FIRST adjustment, we brought our baby home, put him on his belly, and waited…he lifted his head and smiled…we kept waiting. 10 seconds, 20…30… (I didn’t really count, but) it had to be 45-60 seconds! He had never been on his belly even half that long and definitely wasn’t smiling for the 1-2 seconds when he was. We have continued to see great improvement and are hearing the same from his daycare providers - some with their jaws on the ground in awe of the changes.

We have had an amazing experience with Dr. Benne. He is gentle and graceful as he does his adjustments, especially on the little ones - his experience really shines through.
