They always have great estate auctions, and their Worthington pickup location is not only fast and efficient, but they definitely strive to make the pickup enjoyable. I really enjoy picking up in Worthington.

Good selection of items and a website that is easy to use. Picking up items can be tricky sometimes, but their staff is very helpful.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I met with the principal of the company several times and one of his affiliates who was actually handled most of my dealings with the company. I hired them to handle an auction of my vintage cars with the understanding that they would do follow-up auctions either on site or online to handle the rest of my possessions in the three barns that I own. We decided to have two online auctions before the car auction. These auctions were made up of mostly garage tools and car parts. They assured me that after these auctions were finished, everything listed in the auctios would be gone or at least if not everything then only a few items would be left. They ran out of time to inventory, photograph and listi everything and only ran the online auction for about 4 days. The results were pretty poor. I didn't expect to make a lot of money but not only did I not meet my fairly low monetary expectations, I had several things that were never picked up left and I also had many, many things that didn't ever make it to the auction because they ran out of time. After the two online auctions, they auctioned my classic cars. Auction Ohio had promised to advertise in Hemmings. By the time they got around to listing the cars, they missed the printed issue of Hemmings and only advertised the cars online. This was one of many balls they dropped as far as advertising. I had to constantly call the company and point out mistakes or omissions in the online advertising. Since the auction, I have had several local people tell me they didn't even know there was an auction. This was embarrassing to me and a clear indication of their lack of attention to advertising. The car auction has come and gone. Results were mixed. When I met recently with the auctioneer that handled my first three auctions, I was informed that he would not be able to finish the job. Not only was he unable to finish the job but he told me that no one in the Columbus area could finish the job for him. Yes, I live an hour away from Columbus but that didn't seem to be an issue when they had the high dollar items of the car auction. Now that the car auction is over and they have made their money, they are deserting their promise to me to see this through to the end. I guess if you have small, fairly low dollar items, this company might be a good match for you if they will initially handle your auctions. If you have high dollar items, make sure that they aren't going to make promises to you that they will not keep. I hope this review has been helpful to others.

I have been using this auction site for a few years now my only gripe is that sometimes the pickup times are during rush hour traffic at certain locations of private auction sales

I have made purchases from several of their affiliates. Their affiliates should be better trained and if they don't adhere to best practices then they should be removed from the platform. Many of their affiliates don't allow previews and don't disclose things that are wrong. It's not that difficult to say in your auction description even if its in the general description that a house smells like animals, or the previous owners were smokers or the whole house wreaks of mold and mildew. I don't care how collectible something is, if it wreaks of smoke, very few people want it, but for their affiliates its all about the money, not about doing what's right. If you say something about it at pickup, you will be dismissed by most of them with "Oh, we didn't really notice it". Right! Sure! If you reach out to Auction Ohio, they will just tell you that they just provide the platform and aren't responsible for individual affiliate's actions.

I have purchased items from several auctions posted by Corisa Welch. I have always been very pleased with my purchases and Corisa is AWESOME in helping me with information, etc. I will continue to purchase items from Corisa Welch's auctions! Cathy M.

The sales person led me to believe we would walk Away with 52% more than we did. Also the descriptions and groupings were done very poorly in my opinion. Be very careful when dealing with this company. It is my opinion that I may have been misled on purpose.

They and their affiliates take great pleasure in ripping you off. They'll kick everyone out at pick ups, but if you stick around and watch.you will see them load their vehicles with as much as they can get in them. It's fine if you buy one thing at a time.but I usually have to drive, so I buy a lot and I very rarely get everything purchased. I just spent $127 with "Elite Sales" and got none of it. In fact I just asked them to close my account.

The people who work at the warehouse are always extremely rude. Either that or they are all mute.

The best staff. Auction Ohio staff goes the extra 50 miles for their customers. Unbelievable, how well they give in every corner from service to sales. I can’t rate this company high enough. Thank you!

This service has gotten better and better. Especially convenient are full day pick ups at their warehouse. The on site pickups are markedly better since advanced electronic payment was instituted as it speeds pick ups significantly most of the time. Occasionally on site auction managers don’t staff well and there are delays and sometimes the pictures and descriptions are inadequate which is why I can’t yet give 5 stars.

I purchased a home that was to be removed from a property. I went to the home for a friend and met with Brian Hall onsite. During the walkthrough we asked several questions and Brian had all the answers. Biggest mistake I made was believing him telling me that the home could be moved and they had a moving company that had Inspected the place to move 53 miles and they could do it with no problems he also told us the cost of that move but it was just a little bit more than they wanted to spend for the lot and improvements needed at the time. Well I only wanted to move the home 5 miles just down 2 roads so my mistake but I took him for his word that the home could be picked up. Also during the conversation with Brian Hall I asked about all of the trash and debris that would be created and he told me, if you move the home move the home or take whatever you want and leave the rest because if the home doesn't sell they are tearing it down anyway.
So huge mistakes on my end.
1. I believed Brian Hall's story about moving the home because he answered all my questions and he sounded like he really had talked to someone.
2. I also believe that I wasn't responsible for any trash removal was stated by Mr. HALL.wrong.

After finding out that the home couldn't be moved by several companies when I confronted Brian Hall on the phone he said well someone else had told him all of that and he was very surprised by the fact it couldn't be moved and quickly backpedaled on the matter. Ad for all the trash and debris from dismantling the house he had replied.
Good morning we do not have supply dumpsters nor do we provide debris clean up for winning bidders. Any arrangements you have or had with the seller is an arrangement between the 2 of you.
Now all contact and conversations before during and after the sale are with Auction Ohio and once they receive their large check from you they don't care about anything.
Basically do your homework before any purchases from this company and ask to speak with the sellers.

Lots of online auctions with a wide variety of household and industrial items. Can grab a bargain, but be cautious and carefully review descriptions and photos to ensure you understand what you are bidding on. They are affiliated with Zipperbuy.com who auctions off Amazon, Wayfair, Home Depot and other retail returns and overstocks.

Horrible, horrible customer service. The auction was a gong show with item not provided to pickup (although stated in print that they would be online and verbally) though I had hired movers to be there with a truck and 2 men. Fridge still sitting in the basement the next day as I type this. And they are trying divert blame on my movers with one hand, while with the other hiring them to come back the next day to move it out of the house (Something their own “movers“ neglected to do. Donna of Keen’s Furniture is an icon of bad customer relations. She chewed loudly during my one phone call to her ahead of time, with me trying to get ducks in a row prior to pickup. Was condescending and rude to put it mildly. An insulting, and thoroughly disgusting experience. I’m now out of pocket my moving costs from yesterday.

I contacted Brian from Auction Ohio to help us clear out my mother's house and barns. He was very courteous and explained everything very clearly to my mom. He also was understanding and patient, which was nice because this was a heartbreaking decision for her. By the end of the process, Brian, as well as Joe and his team from "Lights, Camera, Auction! " managed through it all wonderfully. Mom enjoyed the people from Auction Ohio and in the end, was pleased with the results. Using their services is a terrific solution to clearing out a lifetime of accumulated "stuff". We plan to use them for Round 2.p. S. I've been a bidder on many items from Auction Ohio and have never had a bad experience.
