Aultman Urology, Canton OH

My new patient appointment has been cancelled twice in a row. Each appt was made for the next month. I am going to find a new place to get treatment. How long does a person have to wait to see if the "suspected carcinoma" is real or not?

From Janet: my issue is with the fact that I have been coming here since I was in my 20’s, I am now in my 50’s. The doctors I have had are excellent. The facility itself fails to inform me, before my last appointment, that they are now owned by Aultman itself. I currently lost my job and have no insurance. Imagine my surprise when I received a $279.00 clinic fee, just to see my doctor. I will be looking for a new doctor. I cannot afford these bills. This upsets me greatly, because I love my current doctor. He treats my whole family great. As I said our doctor is wonderful, but the fact we now have to pay a facility fee is totally outrageous.

I was admitted to Aultman Hospital for a kidney stone blocking a ureter. The physicians in ED were very good at managing my pain. I had a stent placed by Dr Cerone and he was very kind and professional. I had some concerns on a Friday night - had physician on call paged (Dr Maurice) - he returned my call within 10 minutes and was super kind and addressed all of my concerns! My only concern with this office is the scheduling department. Dr Cerone said he wanted to get the stent removed within 2 wks - I have called scheduling 3-4 times and left messages. The regular scheduling person called me and said the surgery scheduler would call with an appt.when she cleared everything with my insurance. The 2 wks is up tomorrow and I still don’t have an appt! Very disappointing!

Rude receptionists. Never have I encountered so many unhappy condescending people in one place. Not a single person there can smile or be polite when they greet you. Its unfortunate that people who don't feel good or don't feel well have to be greeted like this.

Scheduled an appointment for my husband 3 months in advance just to be called the day before the appointment to reschedule, I called back to reschedule with scheduling to be hung up on. You claim to have sent us a “letter” and called their was no call and you guys didn’t believe me when I had the phone right infront of me. No wonder you have a 2 star rating.

When I called to make an appointment they were extremely rude I would never recommend anybody there I don't like giving anybody bad reviews or say nothing but I didn't need to be talked to in an extremely rude way a specialty in 2012 I had a no-show I understand that I should have called to cancel but at the same time I had just lost my mother they showed no compassion he could have cared less they could have charged me a fee I would have paid it I did treat me like they have since 2012 it's unaccepta

I have found all of the doctors I’ve seen here (several have retired over the years) very thorough and compassionate when I've needed care. My experience with the office has always been positive as well with communication and assistance.

I scheduled an appointment and the earliest they had was 2 months out. On the day of, 3 hours before the appointment I got a call that the Dr.was rushed to surgery and had to reschedule.
The earliest this lady said she could get me in was almost a month and a half later.

This place doesn't care about your schedule or what's going on in life.or if they make you wait over 3 months to see a doctor.

Dr. Lohr just does not take my suffering and treatment with any immediacy. So I went to the Cleveland Clinic Dr. Neel Parekh, he treated me for kidney stones immediately and 3 weeks before scheduled surgery with Dr. Lohr. Cleveland Clinic Urology moves expeditiously and will never leave a stent in more 3 days. Whereas, Dr. Lohr is okay leaving stents in 4 weeks, 6 weeks or longer; while in the meantime I am going out of my mind with pain. If you want your kidney stones and kidney issues resolved expeditiously go to the Cleveland Clinic Urology.

This place is unprofessional and awful. My husband had an appointment he took time off of work. Made arrangements for the kids. He drives 30 minutes away and sit there for 20 minutes. And they had rescheduled his appointment without telling him. He will not be back.

My fiancé got a vasectomy, the day after he was non stop throwing up, we called, they said to quit taking the pain meds, they said if he was still sick then next day, to call in. Next day rolls around and he’s still throwing up, we call in, office is closed for some reason.their is no after hours service number to call.we couldn’t get ahold of anyone! I would not recommend this place at all!

My experience with Dr Murray was good but the office manager needs to be released of their duties or revamp their customer service approach, so much patients time wasted on waiting to talk to someone when calling in or waiting to be called back. It is 2019 email would smooth the process so much and waste less time. I'm switching practices today for these various reasons

They never answer the phone. Everything requires multiple callbacks with days in between. Have to track these people down to schedule anything. Surgery appointment canceled withitn a week before the surgery. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this poorly run office.

Awful service. They NEVER answer the phone. Even if you have concerns or issues I feel bad that I’m the one who found this office for my husband I should have read the reviews before hand. But I’ll leave my own review and hopefully save someone else the headache.

This hospital is god awful. It has outsourced most of the positions, and the care is horrid. I'm not going to go into the details, because of patient confidentiality, but avoid this place at all cost. Go to Cleveland Clinic.
