Aurora Spirits reviews
8These guys run a great location. Always nice and welcoming. Give in formed suggestions when I need something. Or not sure what I am looking for. Recommend highly
A Knowledgeable man, that work behind the cash register. He was in able to answer a few of my questions regarding bourbon. I appreciated his knowledge. They have a great selection here. Parking is easy. Nice location.
Loved the options of liquor and thought the cigar cabinet was a interesting add a solid recommendation
While they do get a good amount of allocations in, speaking from one person to another feels like there is no idea what is going on. Call to confirm, show up to buy and told now they can’t sell it after being told they could an hour before. Beware of bad business practices.
I asked for a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle and they looked in the back room and found one. My good luck
Fantastic selection of wine and spirits. Super friendly and helpful staff - this is what separates them against the other liquor stores in the area. They have made a forever customer out of me.
Just a friendly place to go. The gentleman at the register was so nice. They have a really good selection of bourbon, which is what I went in for!
I live out in Amish country, so it's always a challenge when the time comes to restock my bar. The only liquor store by me has very limited selection, which in fairness, is probably more than adequate for the clientele. I made a "day trip" into Aurora to see what was on offer, and I was very impressed when I walked inside Aurora Spirits. The beer and wine selection is vast and nicely compartmentalized, and there's a good selection of cold/convenience beverages in the fridges. I came looking for a bottle of scotch and some miscellaneous bar staples, but mainly I just wanted to look around. The whiskey and vodka selections are huge and there are plenty of bottles to try. There's a nice selection of rum and tequila too, with plenty of reposado and mezcal varieties to try as well. Lots of unique and interesting cordials were on offer too, and there were plenty of mixers and the like. I was curious if there would be any Chartreuse, and unsurprisingly, it was out of stock; that being said, there was at least a spot for it on the shelf, whereas the store near me has never heard of it. There is a nice selection of bitters, and I found a lone 16-oz bottle of Angostura - a tempting gift for my obsessed compadre. I was delighted to find larger bottles of things I go through quickly: there are 1L bottles of Cointreau, Grand Marnier, and Cuarenta y Tres, among others.
I'll be coming back when I'm running low; it's worth the trip!
