. The front desk routinely violates housing laws, ethics, and just plain professionalism! I’ve helped my friend move in to this apartment a while ago and there’s been non stop problems since! The front office doesn’t respect honest feedback and manipulate people to change their answers and reviews. I thought I wanted to live here but so many of my friends who are tenants have had horrible experiences. Just how they treat people is questionable. I wouldn’t suggest moving into this complex at all? Stop crying to people over the phone cause you don’t do the job correctly.

Affordable, clean & safe! Moving to Columbus was a huge step for me, after talking to Cassie in the office and her giving me assurance, I signed my lease 2 months ago and I couldn’t be happier with the decision.

We went with the 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit. Thank you again Cassie!

Edit: regarding your response, if you really wanted to help everyone who lives here who get broken into every weekend since I’ve been here, put up security cameras. But you don’t. It’s just another fake response from y’all. You would rather put in electric garage door openers and charge people more than have actual security here. Also, the police can’t do anything with nothing to go on. No finger prints, no video footage, nothing. I was even told to remove my own camera pointing at my vehicle by you last year. So please explain what calling the cops in any of my situations would do? And what would you do? You say go to the office but when I did the past couple times there’s nothing. You don’t care about your residents plane and simple. Give me one legit example on how you’ve helped any of the residents here with the theft?

Lived here since 2020 and I’ve been broken into 4 times. My friends car once when they stayed the night as well. My lease is up in December 2023 and I can’t wait to move to a place where they actually have security cameras to help residents stay safe and not just to charge them for using the trash dumpster. Attached is the trail cams they have set out by the dumpster. Don’t move here if you have nice things.

I’ve been a resident here for almost a year now. This is my first apartment and I’ve had nothing but great experiences. Staff is welcoming and friendly and easy to get a hold of. Pet friendly! I take my dog everyday to the lobby to get his free treat. I love when special events are going on. Food trucks and different contests for your chance to win a prize!

It was amazing I come to visit my dad out here and it’s very peaceful, cozy, and nice I got the best sleep here too it’s AMAZING

Nice place, but management company loves drama. It’s getting old.

24hr gym is nice, mostly quiet community, and the maintenance people are quick and efficient.

However, who ever manages this community non stop sends out text messages to all community members regarding the actions of maybe one or two people who live here acting against community guidelines. In addition will send letters and notices to leave on everyone’s doors about “someone speeding in the community” and “dog pee dripping onto community tenants living on the first floor”. Instead of figuring out who exactly is the cause of the issue and speaking with that person directly, they involve the entire community in DrAmAaaaaa! It’s annoying and comes off as extremely unprofessional.

I have lived here for a year and everything is up to date and management has been great everytime I’ve had an issue. They seem to be going through the normal growing pains / turnover. The price before they raised the rent is not bad for a 2 bed 2 bath. I would stay but for the price it was being raised so I chose to move somewhere bigger for the same amount! The pool / fitness center is very nice and the people are respectful. I would recommend living here to any friends or family. The only downside I had was people driving recklessly in the small parking lot. There should be a more stop signs and the speed being monitored more.

The new management is not competent, professional and lacks the experience to provided exceptional service, or experience. The headquarters in Alabama didn’t even have the decency to respond to the messages I sent them. I did have two excellent years but the first was under Arden Properties and the 2nd was under Colby who was nothing but professional, courteous and always eager to listen and ensure the property was in the best conditions it could be and that tenants were happy!

I took a leap of faith and move to Ohio! Austin place is now home, we love our new home! We are close to everything yet we can retreat to our peaceful home. Our first summer was awesome, my son and i enjoyed the pool, having BBQS, eating dinner in our pool area or our balcony. Now we are anxiously awaiting for summer to arrive. The apartments are beautiful, spacious and new. My favorite room is our balcony, where I spend most of my evenings. It feels good to know that we are in good hands with the new management team;they are efficient, diligent and extremely helpful. They genuinely want to make sure we are happy in our home. Every time I needed something, information a copy of my lease or i needed to learn how to follow protocol for new procedures, rest assured that Colby or Jessica answer all my questions. We are happy that we picked Austin Place to be our home!

One of the best places I have lived since I moved to Columbus, Ohio nine years ago! The maintenance team was very responsive. The grounds look amazing. Everything is kept really nice.

They said I get a Starbucks entry for giving a good review. Unfortunately the current management is terrible and is making problems for long term tenants.

I toured Austin Place and it was beautiful one of the nicer rentals I have toured in Columbus. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Absolutely HORRIBLE, apartment.

ROACHES ROACHES AND MORE ROACHES.

I have had a roach problem since I moved in and I’m a very clean person and have no idea why it keeps happening in my unit. I kill at-least 8 roaches per-day and it is absurd. They have treated it multiple times and it will not fix the issue. All the roaches are in the kitchen as-well.

DO NOT move into this overpriced roach house. Start looking elsewhere.

Update (original post still below) : Eric the new service manager is cool. He works super hard and is timely and prompt. He reached out after my original concern below and did his best to remedy the situation. Very much respect for him and his team. It feels like Eric is the only one who understands that I (and everyone else here) am more than a customer and that this is where I call "home". I still am not super pleased with Angie and the front desk customer service. I was charged twice for not signing a lease that I had emailed about not receiving to sign. I got no response but they were happy to take that extra $140 from me. Angie is rude, inconsiderate of the people living in her community, and doesn't make any attempt to improve her customer/tenant relationships. I am only even giving this a four star out of my respect for Eric & team. My money and livliehood being a joke to Angie realistically put this at a 1 star. Original Post: This management team is a joke. I submitted a ticket to have my AC fixed in may. They came that day but weren't able to repair and said they would return at a later point. Three days later with no advance notice they just came into my home and installed a window AC unit. It wasn't even sized to my window. I have had house fly issues all summer. All summer? Its still not fixed. 4 months later. I came home yesterday to find out they had entered my home with no 24 hour written notice AGAIN. When I went to complain they said I shouldn't have said it was okay on the maintence ticket that I submitted in May. "Just knock I should be home" in may relinquished my write as a tenant to 24 hour written notice before entering my home for four months and they felt that was okay. To correct it the Manager Angie Sharb corrected my work ticket to have them call me when they are outside my place for permission. Instead of having them notify the office to have them give me my 24 hour notice. Angie is also the same one who saw no issue with them entering my home because of the ticket. Angie Sharb is quite literally one of the dumbest people I have ever met and runs this apartment community. God Help us.
