Terrible customer service, very slow and rude even with the place empty, not customer friendly and requires you to clean and vacuum vehicle after normal driving even though they have workers to do that, I will never rent from them again, the tire lost a few lbs of pressure so she had me fill out a incident report and the lady told me to go across the street and fill it up, if I could give lower than one star I would

Danielle has excellent customer service skills and is friendly please remember to wear a mask and the lady that details the vehicle's does an amazing job. VERY WELL DONE LADIES

THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, EXPERIENCE I have ever experienced with what I thought was a reputable company, dealer.
I had a confirmation number for a 12 person passenger van for one day ~ $169.00. I booked it a Month in advance to take my wife, our four daughters, my mother in law and four of my wife's friends to the LAVENDER fields in KY for a girls day out full of shopping, dining and drinking. I was their DD/Chauffeur for the day. My wife and I planned this outing since before mothers day and spent well over $300 with reservations fees and gift bags to make this a most memorable occasion.
So I arrived (on time) at the predetermined time and location only to be told, 15 minutes into the check-in that they don't have a passenger van on the lot. With a disingenuous pseudo apology the counter clerk says "Don't worry your Credit Card won't be charged"
REALLY!
"DON'T WORRY"
I would pay twice that to make this a memorable occasion for my family. Instead I have to tell them that our entire days plans have gone up in smoke due to the incompetence of a service provider. I will be contacting their regional and corporate offices to express my deepest frustration and then the BBB in hopes that no one else with be subjected to this level of incompetence.

Posting 5 stars because of the end of my review!

I had the worst rental experience with Avis that I have ever had, which says a lot because I travel for work and rent cars often. I picked up my vehicle in Orlando, FL and dealt with the RUDEST woman in my life. She wrote the wrong car down on my paper, so when I tried to leave the garage, I was stopped because I didn’t have the right car. From Orlando, I was driving back home to Cincinnati and dropping off at CVG. My family and I left Florida at 7: 30am, got back to Ohio at 8: 45pm. There was a sign on the fence that said the hours were 4am-12am (covid19 hours). The gate was LOCKED. Nobody answered my calls, and guess what? Customer service was closed too. I was suggested to take the rental home with me (40mins away) and bring it back down the next day. Um, no. I brought the car home, called customer service in the morning and told them I would not be bringing the car back to CVG, and would take it to my local office. I was informed I would have a fee for not returning the car at the airport. At that time I made it very clear I wouldn’t be paying that fee, as this was not my fault, the car would have been returned the night before had there been someone at the office when they were suppose to be. The best part of my rental experience with Avis, was when I returned to the Fairfield location and dealt with Danielle, who was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I had already decided I was never going to rent from Avis again, but if I do, I will only go to Fairfield and deal with Danielle.

I had a reservation made for 1pm pickup. I arrived at 12: 56, as I walked up to the door the woman working locked the door and yelled through the door "Sorry, we're closed" I checked my phone, it said 12: 56, Not 1pm. If you close at 12: 56 pm, change your sign and notify your reservation system, otherwise, serve your customers as you should. LAZY employee, POOR customer service.

Horrible service, strong smoke odor and dirty car. Had to clean ourselves before leaving for a trip. Wouldnt work with us on all the trouble.

Wont ever use this location again

Kwame Brown went out of his way to help me out! I arrived late for a pickup. I had a vacation planned and arrived a few minutes after the store closed. Luckily, Kwame was there to save the day! He did not have to help, and I know he had better things planned then to stay after work and help another customer. This was excellent customer service and allowed me to start my vacation on time/as planned. Keep hiring workers like Kwame Brown!

Rented a new 2018 Ford Expedition EXT, within 24 hours the entire dash, including GPS were out. The dash is 100% computer driven, so no speedometer etc either. Went to a local Budget store front as it was unsafe to drive and they only had older and problematic vehicles. Example, one had a flat tire. Painful process to resolve and obtain replacement. The customer service representative tried, but was encumbered with issues.

I was greeted with a smile made sure i knew how to operate the car radio lights n over all made sure that I knew it before i left for me trip customer service was wonderful i will be back to this location

Vehicle not clean. Gave 50 credit but when in-laws received bill from charge company they were overbilled 102. They said we had 48 hours to dispute the charges and we did not note on the return documents we had special quoted amount. Refused to refund.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE return too this location, it is under new management/ownership. The young man name is Kwama, he's very professional and unlike the last owner. My family and I rented a F150 June 8 2017, EVERYTHING went perfect! However I do understand the negative reviews, the previous owner was HORRIBLE and I also started to use the West Chester location.

Will never rent here again, prepaid and ended up getting tricked into getting extra insurance because when asked if we wanted minimum or full coverage insurance I said minimum because I assumed that's what I already paid for. Make sure you read the contract because they're crafty ass hats that will weasel your money out of you. We waited 45 minutes to even be waited on so by the time it got to us we were running late and were ready to get out of that nasty, run down place. Avis, you suck.

The place decided to close early, before my reservation, leaving me without a rental car when needed. The only thing customer service could do was have me drive to another location (45 minutes away) at the original rate.
