We called AL Plumbing after detecting a leak above our kitchen. Paul came out within the week and worked tirelessly to repair the leak and install a new toilet. The issue was not straightforward, and Paul devoted a day and a half to make sure it got done. We are very happy with the service and will call them for future jobs.

Avon Lake plumbing is amazing! They came out to inspect and repair my French drains and basement/foundation needs. I had two other companies come out. The first two companies stated I needed 25,000-30,000 worth of work completed. Denis at Avon Lake Plumbing was the only one who stated that the work was completed but just simply needed a few extra things. He was upfront, honest, and kind. Denis, Paul, and Kristen have been great to work with and I will be contacting them for all my future plumbing needs!

We called them with an emergency plumbing issue at night as they claimed to have “24/7 services”. We were told a tech would contact us in less than a half hour. I had to call back 45 minutes later and was told “someone can be out tomorrow afternoon”. Not exactly emergency response. The next day they called and told me the earliest someone could come out was not that day but instead in a week. They also offered no explanation for the delay or why they didn’t have people available. I cancelled all service requests with them.

SUPERIOR Service. I called a couple of in-town plumbers for convenience and supporting the local economy. Well both were a HUGE FAIL. I reached out to Avon Lake Plumbing and Paul did an INCREDIBLE job diagnosing the problem and resolving our issue. Learn from my mistakes, only call ALP whenever you need a plumber. Hands down the BEST!

Because they said they would be here around 12 to 2 pm, never showed, then said they would be here between 2pm to 5pm, never showed again, wasted the whole day to find out they were never coming and said the job was to big and they didn't even see where the leak is, not dependable at all, then they said we would have to pay $3,800 if we wanted it done that evening, what a ripoff, sounds like they only cared about money and not doing the job, after reading the other 1 star reviews, it seems these people have scheduling issues, you can't count on these people and will be taking my business elsewhere, please don't waste your time with this company

Kristin was very professional and prompt. Paul stopped by and quoted me a price, half of what his neighbor quoted. I went ahead with the repair. He was a total pro, Would highly Recommend!

Paul, the assigned plumber, arrived on time. Paul was polite and professional; thoroughly explained the process and and how to correct the issue. Paul cleaned up during the entire process. Had a clog in my main sewer line that was causing a very slow drain. Dennis was able to unclog it in a timely manner. He was very professional and very nice to work with. Only took him 1/2 hour despite having to use the water jet as well as the mechanical cutter and having to go in through a couple access points. I couldn't be happier - will definitely use for all of my plumbing needs going forward. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Dennis to take care of your plumbing needs, he did a great job on my disposal, toilet and faucet.

Paul found and repaired a gas leak where a gas line for the outdoor gas grill was hooked into at the meter. After disconnecting that line he tested all the lines in the house and had everything working safely. Very knowledgeable, courteous and all at a very good price. Will definitely call them for all my plumbing needs.

We just used Avon Lake Plumbing. Paul was outstanding. He did great work, provided good suggestions, educated us and showed much patience with our questions. Plumbing can be expensive so get your quotes. We highly recommend and will call them as other projects arise.

I am a home owner, and was incredibly distressed about my plumbing situation. Paul came out and calmly/professionally set me at ease. NOT only diagnosed my issue correctly THE FIRST TIME, he also explained everything step by step and completed the work at a fair price! I will call Avon lake plumbing and a request PAUL and DENNIS for ALL of my plumbing needs!

I am honestly surprised at having to write this review. Avon Lake Plumbing came highly recommended and had great online reviews. We received an estimate for work needed in August. Due to our highly hectic and busy schedules (and after seeking out other quotes to complete our due diligence), we were finally able to schedule. We called about 2 weeks ago and secured an appointment on Friday, 11/19/21. We had lines to be replaced in our basement, as well as something to be fixed on our H20 tank, and a toilet and bathroom sink drain fix. On Thursday, 11/18/21 they called to say they couldn't come Friday due to an emergency. We understood and accepted an appointment for today, 11/23. I phoned yesterday, 11/22 to ensure we were still scheduled for today between 10-12. We rearranged our schedules as well as other scheduled work at our home for this. The woman in the office said "absolutely. You're still on schedule for tomorrow. We will call when on our way". Today at 9: 30am (30 min before the beginning of our appointment window), she called to say they can no longer come and they will have to re-do the estimate since it has been longer than 60 days since the estimate. I asked her to phone my husband to explain to him. She did, and ended up placing Dennis on the phone. He actually told my husband that it wasn't on "his" schedule to be here because he was somewhere else, that we probably "can't afford the work needs to be done" and that we "wasted his concrete guy's time" (we saw him at a neighbor's house putting in a turnaround and asked if he could give a rough estimate on our house for the same). The quote given in August does not state anywhere that it expires after a certain time. Further, we are completely confused since we are basically begging to give them our business and they are doing everything they can to not take the business. Finally, when is it ok to insult someone? They canceled on us twice, then insulted us! If we were simply told we needed a new quote, we would have gladly said "no problem" and moved forward. Yet to cancel on us twice then insult us when asking to update our quote is unacceptable. I'm just in shock. We've never been treated like this! I hope this is an isolated incident because I would hate for others to be treated this way.

Had a water line put in for my fridge. Paul was fast and professional. You will pay for good quality but it was well worth it, for 2 hrs from when I called to when I gave him my card.
