Bar Louie - Lyndhurst reviews
16I know that staff is short everywhere and continue to be patient. Our visit was at 8 pm on a Monday. There was only one other family seated besides the patrons at the bar. It took 5 minutes just for the waitress to approach our table. Once our food was delivered, she never returned until I flagged her down for the bill. No drinks refilled, no opportunity to ask for a condiment, nothing. Once she returned our credit card she asked if we needed anything. By that point we were done and preparing to leave, disappointed with our experience.
Ordered one of their signature burgers. Not only was it cooked too long, but it was missing 3 of the 5 items that made the burger what it is. The sauce I asked to be omitted was on the sandwich!
The food was delicious. Our server was over sat making it hard for her to give the service I'm use to. Management needs to do better especially when you have specials during certain hours of business.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Staff was very disrespectful and made my experience there uncomfortable. They need hire new staff and a manager who knows how mange them. I could tell that they’re very judgmental there and as a restaurant establishment that is unacceptable.
We come back every few years hoping our experience will be better than the last - and it’s always worse. Tonight takes the cake for horrible experience, and it was only take out. We went to legacy village’s outdoor concert on 8/14/21 and got takeout from Bar Louie. As always, the staff was just mean. I don’t even care if the food is slow or gross - just be nice! It’s simple, really.
The young, long haired blonde woman working the hostess stand at approximately 6: 30 PM on 8/14/21 made me (and my family) leave the concert in tears. We couldn’t even stay after our experience with her. Out of respect, I won’t post the details, but she was so rude it left us lost for words. Please, do something (anything!) about your consistently terrible service.
This was my 1st time dinning here. My daughter and I went to cheese cake factory 1st and the wait was extremely long so we went on a hunt & ended up here. I am so glad we left the C Factory! Because I probably spent less than I would have at C-Factory and, it was really good. My daughter felt the food was good as well. I had a burger with BBQ sauce and onion rings with sweet potato tots! The service was nice and the wait wasn't long. I will be returning.
Bar Louis has some of the best appetizers and drinks. This outstanding pub has an citified atmosphere and is a comfortable spot offering tasty menu items. Noteworthy options: Bavarian pretzels? , loaded tots, jalapeño honey wings, salmon sliders, Buffalo chicken flatbread. Cool eats!
Things have changed since we were there last the food we're still good but the prices went up and the size of the portions went down and that's okay too but how about the part about silverware in the container I hated those cardboard boxes
Fast wait time, friendly lady bar tender. There was a fight in the kitchen that exploded and they stopped serving people at 7.
We ate there, we was there for art festival at Cain Park and the food was great! I had the burger with the jalapeno. Loved it! Would like to know how it's made, as we don't live in Ohio, to go there more. It was just the right amount of heat and crispy. The bartender was fantastic, she was great.
We went for their happy hour which is our old standby for truly great deals on cocktails and munchies! The hostess was very kind and took us right away to a table that opened up on the patio. Our server was in training and he had only started a few hours previous to our visit. He did a fantastic job taking care of us and as usual we left there as happy as a happy hour could leave us.
Definitely not the greatest first date atmosphere as the kitchen staff was fighting and yelling as other customers ordered burgers only to be served with burgerless burgers. Other than that things were fine but definitely not what I expected atmosphere wise
First time going here. It was nice and relaxed.
The guy server was great! We sat inside but by the open doors to the patio and the breeze was nice. I wish I knew the guy name that served us but he had the best personality.
I wish I could leave NO STAR…… I order what I usually get but this evening the food was cold. And so was the couple next to me. The Barmaid was rude. Just over all horrible experience. I knew I should have went to cheesecake smh
Excellent experience service was amazing thanks so much a great birthday celebration but one thing missing no birthday cake and they changed 50 each for honey mustard and a side of barbeque wow that's petty
Went here tonight for a quick bite. It wasn’t crowded when we came in. The food was good. I got impossible tacos. It took a long time to get served. Our waitress was so slow. My friend ordered cake and that took a long time too. Our drinks got refilled a few times but that took a long time too. Also their bathrooms are awful. They have wood doors that don’t shut properly. I won’t be going back anytime soon.
