Barrington Square Apartments, Columbus OH

I am a current resident for close to 5 years. I do not post reviews but I was so compelled to so today. I can honestly say I have NEVER, thus far, have had any issues here at Barrington Square. Anytime I've contacted maintenance it's handled immediately. People don't realize that in a large complex and sometimes short staffed at times, they are they are doing their best to accommodate everyone's needs. If it's an emergency trust me when I say you'll be taken care off. Yes management has changed over the years, but I feel Patience is making great moves to get things in order, which takes patience. During this Covid-19 it's shows the support and empathy from the staff which is very important. We are wanting to upgrade to 3bdrm once things get back to some form of normality, but for now I'm satisfied.

I want it to be known with everything going on in the world Patience and Alicia has both stepped up and showed how much they care. I myself was affected by covid 19 and they are going above and beyond to assist. Thanks Ladies!

Greg and Patience are pretty awesome leasing managers. I really enjoyed being at Barrington, the maintenance staff was also really nice. The layout of my apartment was perfect especially the spacious living room. Only issue I ever had was smoking from my neighbor which is sometimes inevitable but I appreciate the leasing company for finding a feasible solution:)

It’s a great place to live. Nice clean and quiet but the one thing I do not like is the fact that they do not install patio door nor do they allow you to do so. I have kids who like to play out side. Whenever I am at work I am sorry worried about them. I wish they could just let those of us who want to install door for them self’s to do so.

I lived at Barrington Square many years ago in a two bedroom town home with a roommate. The only reason we left was for an opportunity to live in a house with a third roommate. We were there for three years and we both liked it there.
More recently my husband and I have been looking for a new place to live and visited Barrington Square to see a one bedroom unit. It is very spacious and the person (sorry forgot his name but was in the office on a Saturday) was very helpful and knowledgeable. Barrington Square is on our list of possibilities for our next home. They appear to stay full so we'll see if they have an opening when decision time rolls around for us.

I’ve lived here 6 great years, if not for downsizing I would stay, the pool area is so cute and well maintained, I’m going to miss the 24 hr laundry. Great staff! Definitely recommended

Edit: We moved out in April 2017. Hope the management is able to address the issue on smoking. Good luck.

Be more equipped and ready for repair and maintenance. Hotline is a good service gesture, but isn't meeting the expectation. We pay for the value we get here but the value in return doesn't seem to meet the price we pay. Looking forward for some improvements then may change the review rate.
Now it's getting worse with the smoking odor issues that they don't seem to be able to address. Manager on site is very considerate. It's just we can't handle the odor back-flowing from another unit.

Unfriendly, dirty, management is uncooperative and will have a tow truck hijack your vehicle and hold it for $90 cash!
