Dr. Basali has been a god send to me. After dealing with back pain for a long time, he was finally able to relieve the problem. One of the most professional physicians I have ever encountered. Has a great sense of humor and very caring towards his patients. He also has a great support staff that attends to the patients also. I highly recommend both Dr. Basali and the Pain Management Institute!

Dr. Basali and staff are amazing. At first Dr basali was unsure whether the injection would do anything for me. But he wouldn’t give up and wanted to give it a try, Dr basali is always pleasant and makes me laugh and smile. The nurses here are amazing. Dr basali really does work wonders for his patients. I went to Omni orthopedic before and was unimpressed, nothing Omni did help me at all and they kept telling me that what they did should have helped u but it didn’t. I will never go back to Omni and will only see Dr basali now, he really works wonders

Dr. Basali is beyond wonderful. Came in with lower back pain and left feeling much better after an injection. Staff is compassionate and wonderful to work with! Would highly recommend Dr. Basali to anyone with persistent pain.

I brought documentation of all issues, including physician notes that all of my neurological symptoms are due to a chronic stress response from untreated chronic pain. I was told (as he’s said before) that he won’t give me anything “just because you come in and cry. ” I felt dehumanized and have intense PTSD from doctors like this who don’t take me seriously, speak down to me, and make me feel worthless.

He told me he would do nothing for me and recommended a pain pump, which can cause granulomas in the spinal cord, especially with my autoimmune disease. The pump is an absolute last resort when oral medications fail (doesn’t apply to me). The fact that I refuse that is seen as “not wanting to get better. ”

Please do not go here, especially when there are far better (both in skill and bedside manner) physicians who perform steroid injections. I really hope this review saves someone from possibly being pushed over the edge. Seek another doctor and stay strong.

I was very pleased with my initial consultation with Dr. Basali. He took the time to provide a comprehensive and detailed explanation of the sources of my back pain. It was the most thorough and complete explanation I have received from any physician. He made sure that I understood the diagnostic information before explaining his prescribed treatment protocol. Thereafter, he provided a comprehensive description of the type and manner of treatment that I would be undergoing, as well as anticipated outcomes. I felt that Dr. Basali was genuinely interested in ensuring that I understood the problem, why it was causing pain, how it would be treated and what type of relief I could expect. I was very satisfied with my consultation with Dr. Basali.
