Basil Asian Bistro, Canton OH

This is by far the best Asian food in Canton, and that from an individual who knows grew up in Seattle eating Asian food from Asian chefs. Also, Delaney (our server) was fantastic and knowledgeable about the dishes. 5 stars only because there is not more.

Tried this place for the first time tonight. It was AMAZING! The hostess was very friendly and sat us right away. The wait staff was very attentive, our glasses stayed full, our empty dishes were constantly being cleared, and our food was staggered perfectly from course to course. All of our food choices were amazing, appetizers, sushi, soup, main dishes, rice, lo mein, delicious! The manager Dawn stopped at our table multiple times to ensure we were good. She made it seem like she cared, not just checking us off her list of tables to visit. I highly recommend everyone trying this place, you won’t be disappointed!

Ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken - Got Chicken and Vegetables - no Sweet & Sour sauce. Last time I ordered Honey Sesame Chicken. Never had a tougher meal than that chicken. 0 for 2 - not going here again!

Best sushi in ohio period. Best pad Thai over ever had. Great tasting cocktails. Always great service. And cozy atmosphere.

Ordered 3 Yellowtail Hand Rolls and eel Nigeria- Do you see a Hand Roll. Awful. Couldn't eat the fish. Expensive and Very Sad. I've never wrote a bad review. But, this was horrific.

The prices are super reasonable. Tje food is Amazing! I love it. So many great vegan options. Serving sizes is enough bring food home. Also the food is super fresh. Great lunch spot.

Good food, but their was a sign in the restroom that said “employees must wash hands” I waited, but no employee came to wash my hands!

Had pho, pad kee mau, and green curry. Room was a little cool, server was very helpful and attentive. Nice menu with foods from several asian cuisines.thai, sushi, vietnanese, chinese. Have bar, across street from Palace Theater. Would return if in area.

Hands down the best Asian food I've ever had. I discovered this place about a year ago and have eaten there many times since, worth the 30 minute drive. I've tried many different dishes and have not had a bad dish yet. A little pricier but you get what you pay for. Love this place

I disappointed though, we have tickets to see A Christmas Carol on an upcoming Sunday and was hoping to finish the event off with dinner at your place, alas you are closed. But still love your General Tsao!

This was my Husband and I's favorite spot, up until last Monday November 15th. We had been Ranting and Raving to my Best friend and brought her with us. From the beginning Carolina treated us like we were a bother. We were 1 of 2 tables in the place. As a server that seems mighty important to make money. We didn't see our server again (except for when she would dart out the kitchen into the adjoining door to the bar side of the restaurant) until someone else brought out our food all at different times and then my soup was forgotten so about 5 minutes later it finally came again delivered by someone else. We usually have a few drinks but not that day. My husband and friend each had two. I was over it at that point. So fast forward about 20 minutes later we had been waiting for boxes for some time. So my husband gets up to go ask the host for boxes. He sees our server hanging out near the bar and ask for the boxes. She barks at him "I'M Coming! " She brought over two sushi boxes when we both had Peppered steak, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and sides of rice. So my friend asked for more boxes. Finally brought over one more box. There's been two times in my life I've given less than 20 percent tip and this was one of them. I'm not sure we will ever be back or that you want us back. After reading reviews it seems our experience was not out of the ordinary. It's a shame because you guys have the potential. My friends bill was separate and around 30 dollars and ours was 90 so we don't mind spending money. I felt judged from the second she took our drink order.

Another outstanding restaurant owned and operated by the Ly family. The menu includes Thai, sushi and traditional Asian dishes. The Tom Yum soup is the best around. Try the Bangkok spicy fish which is exceptional. The atmosphere is inviting, the service is great and the prices are very reasonable. This is my go to place in Akron/Canton for gourmet Asian fare!

I love the food here is very good and it's convenient for where I live at and the staff is very friendly there's not a long wait for you food either good service very good

Long before you realize just how great he food is you are welcomed by the incredible staff. Simply a wonderful dinning experience.

Came here on a whim. Was driving by. Loved the food.loved the selection and loved the prices. Also had the, made on premises, pumpkin cheesecake. Ohhh man.and I'm not even a cheesecake fan.

Didnt get either of our soups, tried calling several times phone rang then went to busy. Spider roll tasted and smelled moldy. Extremely disappointed!

The beef lo mein had no beef first off and the and the sweet and sour chicken was so overcooked you couldn't even eat it and there was only like three little squares of pineapple in it.

Ok so I have only gone to this place 4 or 5 times, but the food is ALWAYS phenomenal, without question. Today a friend and I went out because we craved sushi, the service took forever. And I mean there was few people in this restaurant and I don't know the staffing situation but it took a lot longer than usual to get served.

That out of the way the restaurant is always clean, food is always good without exception, and staff was very polite, just not prompt.

It was a wonderful experience the hostess and the waiters were unbelievable believable the food was 2nd to none it was worth the drive from stow I would recommend it to everybody
