I just wanted to say THANK YOU to your team with a special emphasis on Abby. My girlfriend called ahead of time to schedule and we were both a little trepidatious being that I have a unique hair texture from dual ancestry parents. We were assured that there was someone there who could manage my hair with precision and understand the sensitivity of the issue. We walked in and it felt like the country club I've always wanted to join. I wasn't sure who would be cutting my hair, but when a woman of similar culture named Abby, smiled, cleaned her chair and tools, then said "hi. I got you right here" I knew I had come to the right place. I explained the style I wanted and she executed it PERFECTLY! She was kind, courteous, and personable. I will DEFINITELY be making this establishment my "home barbershop". Thank you, and thank you Abby.

John gave me the best haircut I've ever had. I have a very bony skull and thus every single time someone cuts my hair I have to explain to them to even it out so it looks smooth and not lumpy and they always cut it too long in the back. I didn't even have to explain this to him. I showed him one picture of the side of my head where none of this was even visible and he already knew exactly what
what haircut I wanted and didn't make any of those mistakes.

A great, clean, upscale barber salon. The staff is always friendly & accommodating. I've never had a bad haircut from Valencia & we always have good conversations.

I made an appointment with one barber at 6pm. However, when I arrived there, I found another guy coming for the same barber. I was told to wait for 30 mins until the guy finished.
Please fix your system so there won't be two people making the same appointment. Terrible experience overall.

Great spot. I’ve bounced around Columbus trying to find a barber that’s not too pretentious, but been burned by mass franchise shops before. This place is the perfect in between. The barber John does an awesome job with hair and beards. I’ll be going back here for a long time to come.

The complimentary drink when you walk in is an added bonus.

I’ve been coming to Bates&Brown consistently for about three years. By far, John is the best barber in town. There’s no need to look elsewhere if you book here and with John. Overall and exceptional barber experience with a true professional. He really knows what he’s doing and he was able to get me completely set up for my upcoming wedding. I also met Kaylyn for the first time who was very kind and a genuinely pleasant receptionist.

I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a better haircut than chain stores can do. Above and beyond what they needed to do and made accommodations for an upcoming appointment. Highly recommend.

I recently had one of best haircuts in a long time! My hairstylist, Myla, demonstrated incredible attention to detail and took her time to ensure every aspect was perfect. Very happy and 'll be returning to her for future haircuts.

I've been coming here for my normal cuts because I am pleased with Jon's work each time. Come to find out they also have massages available. I booked with Alexis and I was amazed to find she located and released tension and pain I've been having in my shoulders. I definitely recommend booking any of their services!
